I came up with a nice way to get great bobbins, i've used glass fiber fabric with epoxy resin. is really easy to work with, you just need a plastified paper like files those used for save documents inside, are really cheap and easy to take it out of the solidified piece. Is much easier than machining and way cheaper. I made a big one... i used only 4 layers of fiber fabric with epoxy, it became very solid, too much... and epoxy is supposed to handle higher temperature than common other plastics..

I keept thinking about the subject... The iron wire will also add more induction to the transformer as it is ferromagnetic... And there will be a magnetic field closing path with each adjacent turn not just inside the core. As this flux will be more concentrated between turns i imagine you will increase the induced voltage in a secondary if in comparison with copper primary. However I'm not sure if this type of assymetry could already give any over-unity effects. Cause a greater induction would only give you a greater EMF in the secondary... You should try to determine if there are strange effects on the BEMF...
I think there would be benefits of using it with no core... Maybe an iron and a copper wire bifilar like...
a transformer with a higher resistance in the primary will have less reactive component so most of the energy should be transfered to the secondary (except the dissipated energy)
The time constant will be smaller therefor the frequency of operation can be higher..
We should maybe understand more about phasors and electronics engineering to be able to understand whats going on...
About the iron in the primary, i thought of this some time ago, i didn't thought about spin ... I was thinking about the speed of the electrons in the wire...
I thought that relativistic magnetic effects could be achieved by using iron.. Was just a supposition.
For example a thin wire and a thick wire of whatever material will present different electron velocities for a given current. However in engineering there are standards of allowed primary dissipation for a given rated power transformer.
i was looking into the links about the iron as the primary, but the guy didn't specify the resistance of the primary. so is impossible to determine how much watts was being dissipated in the primary.
A given resistance per inductance will give a specific time constant.

From the experiments i did using iron wire on the secondary i have found nothing. Except once when i got such a resonance that the trasformer burned into light. I never tried it again however... It was a steal wire with a black plastic cover...
you can simulate, whatever circuit conditions you want, you just need to model them..
you can use a transformer and adjust its coupling... than you can have two coils in a ferrite like... add a resistance in series and become more realistic...
Is good to have a understanding of what is limit for this-.. for example for infinite resistance no current can flow ... so where the limit of the resistance is the infinite the current will be zero.. .this kind of logic thinking is very wanted

A capacitor could make all difference, capacitances are thing that can be hidden very well, just changing the placement of a thing you can alter the capacitances... a simple switch that changes the area of metal connected to a tuned circuit could change the tuning.... My 2 cents
Today i matched the inductances the way i proposed and i got very very high voltage potentials, but not much gas, however you must know that is very very pure water about 3kohms resistance... if i pull any of the connections there is an arc very very hot arc it can make things red in seconds... I think that my coils inductances are too small so i'm designing a bigger one. I bought a sheet of nylon 0,6mm thickness, to make the bobbins, i will get some help from a machinist in the university that will cut the thing for me. Than i'm going to wind more and more wire.
I'm going to try with the other vic i have here with the closed loop core, and try to compare see what is happening.
Man the vic in the end must match the electrical resonance to be able to have 0 volts amper in the water, there is only fields.
Maybe my tubes are too big... If i had some money i would buy some more plastics to make the cell more a resonant cavity like proposed. Here i have a water bath.
As we can select the number of pulses going into the water with 100% precision, in my mind this can be only related as i said before to the voltage level you allow it to go, if you allow 1 two or 2500 pulses depends on the Vic design. If you notice also the Steam resonator uses determined number of pulses per switch if i can call it like that.
So if you let the pulses continue to go without gating it, 1 you create a dangerous condition, in witch 1° it can explode, 2° cause will certainly burn the VIC if not properly insulated.
I have just finished my 6.1 vic the inductances are not that big, for example in air the resonant charging chokes have tx5 1,7 ad 2,2 respectively, with the core the tx4 become smaller than tx5 so just by inserting the laminations i can equal the inductance of the coils. The secondary is 5mh, and now i know the coupling is much much better, so now i can be more free of trouble with the transistors blowing. The primary has 1,4mh..
If you think about the voltage transformation from primary to secondary is irrelevant, cause at resonance you must only think about the secondary to chokes voltage per turn.
cause for example the secondary is = to the charging choke, and the primary is applying or imposing 2 amps in the chokes, lets assume the choke in resonance would have 600ohms reactance therefore it would have 1200 volts across it so the secondary will also have 1200 volts in it and the charging choke too, so this will make a almost theoretic perfect current source!!! Nice isn't
By water resonance meyer mean that it behave like benzene resonance, were the electrons are free to exchange between the atoms. The thing is that you need to achieve this point but prevent the current from leaking thru the water, arc, so the gate controls this too for sure.
How about the cell driver resistors and transistors?
And how about the capacitor between the primary and the 0v?

I did some tests here, found nothing yet, just blew two snubber capacitors... however for me seems that the variable resistor goes to pin 12 and not 11 cause i tested here and if the r1 is made to vary nothing happens at least here.
