An identity on IonizationX as it was harvested, not an account on this site. Nobody here has claimed it, and nothing connects it to a person by name.

I have worked with , designed , studied , invented power electronics . As strange as it may seem , I  have in fact studied much litterature on this specific subject and simmed nearly all the active rectifiers known to man .

For industrial use , usually motors use 600 volts , so the losses are really not that big , not worth extra mosfets and extra complexity . And usualy , active rectifiers are for low power signal processing , so negative feedback comes into the equation  . Most of the time the power factor imperfections will be 10 times greater than the losses from a diode .

Its really pointless for us to make this for our experiments or for motors .

I think I know what I am talking about , you see ? When I say something I ALWAYS know what I am talking about , otherwise I dont talk .

But Stevie thx for trying to help us reach better efficiency for our experiments , but it really isnt worth the trouble .

Dankie, if it wasnt worth anything, i wouldnt publish this.
Again, your lag of building any kind of waterfuelcells is speaking out loud here.
If you build a cell, you fight for efficiency.
If you wanna hook it up to a powergenerator and want to make it selfsustaining, you fight for every % of efficiency.
Why?
It might be that small part that makes the difference.

Hi you all,

Yes steve he is saying that will work like a piano in a wood room. Can be who knows...

But however he is not getting oxygen out of that because the diode is oxidizing.

Regards

Hi Fabio,

Yes, you are right. I seen the same color change at the other end of the diode in his video. So, the whole proces will stop after the other end of the diode id fully oxidized...
But it is a funny way of doing electrolysis...

AC electrolysis

Hi and welcome mr. Woodhouse,

as you can see , many members tried to replicate meyers setup.
Like you, i am an engineer as well from education.
Of course we are all very curious about any scopeshot of Stan, because nobody seen one.
Do you mean with ac a half rectified waveform or true ac?

regards
Steve
Hi OL,

What do you think a SCR schematic can do better then a FET orso?
Jusr curious.. ;)

Steve
Its a very basic drycell with big holes for gas output and waterinput.
My estimation of the efficiency of that cell is max 80% accoording to Faraday's law.
My new drycell will be around 100% efficient.

Still looking for some gears like those guys have, Claudio... They are difficult to find.
I choose the same concept of the ignition system as they have, as you know.
The ideas of who we talked about does not include a variable timing system.
I am cutting now everyday  gaskets for the new cell.......I need 100 gaskets. Because they are small in bordersize, its a very difficult job to cut them properly.

Cannot wait to run tests again with my genset with help of the new cell, ionizer and PFC circuit.
Then i will prove if it is possible or not to have a selfsustaining system.

In a purely resistive circuit, all circuit power is dissipated by the resistor(s). Voltage and current are in phase with each other.
In a purely reactive circuit, no circuit power is dissipated by the load(s). Rather, power is alternately absorbed from and returned to the AC source. Voltage and current are 90o out of phase with each other.
In a circuit consisting of resistance and reactance mixed, there will be more power dissipated by the load(s) than returned, but some power will definitely be dissipated and some will merely be absorbed and returned. Voltage and current in such a circuit will be out of phase by a value somewhere between 0o and 90o.

Here a doc of Bockris.

Fabio, please have a look at it.
It explains some methodes.
One if it is the rotating methode of magnets which create a potential diff and make hydrogen that way.

Steve
thinking about that

if we assume the exhaust could be OH ions there would be a strange gain in volume because there would be more molecules at the output, maybe this would give more" thermal energy expansion " i was thinking that if we could burn H2 + O we would have H20 output however if we burn H2+2O   then output would be -OH + -OH the double of oxygens would interact in the combustion chamber... What do you think about ??? Maybe this -OH's need a bit of photon energy to reach an equilibrium and become water again.... aka re energize...

Fabio,

I did some reading on cars running on hydrogen and there is lots to read on the net. The output of the exhaust  which they all mention are:
Water(vapour) and NOx.
No other elements so far.
I will continue reading on this.

Ciao

hi Fabio,

you are right that we dont know exact what happens if you burn hho with air in an ice.

It would be interesting to measure that.....
maybe soon..

It eliminates the opposing magnetic field problem because on one layer the coils do not move move, just the secondary, then on the next layer the secondary stays still and the coils move, so you never have magnetic fields moving against each other - just the secondary moving relative to the coils, where the coils alternate between north south north south, so yes, it does do exactly as he says and eliminate a lot of problems with the conventional car alternator, and in particular it he designed it to be a "current limiting voltage source" with "power isolation" where a "pulsed input results in a pulsed output" and he even talks about it being used to control a car accelerator.

It's all right there, if you want to read it. This is a rotary vic.

Thanks you for your explanation  ;)
in fact in 1983 he patented, 4613779, his own rotary vic design that has better efficiency than the alternator because he eliminated opposing magnetic fields, read that description and every other description of the vic and you'll learn it's the same characteristics, he went to solid state after this because of his KISS principle, the rvic is more expensive and complex than a core and some coils

Donald,

You are right about that patent. We also know that you have to show the patentoffice a working device.
But i never seen anyone confirming the fact that Stan Meyer beated Tesla's alternator design.
He made a more controlable setup with pulsing the rotor for sure.
We can replace the coil on the rotor with magnets to save like 10 watts.
But you need a magnetic field passing a coil to get current.

What kind of opposing fields?
Rotor vs ?
Fields inside the rotor?

Or did Stan just add more coils to the same magnetic field? Meaning having more efficiency towards the magnetic field.

Steve
yes do think the windings were stock. to restrict amps he controlled the current going to the rotor, that lowers the magnetic field induced in the stator controlling the current flow to the cell.

so we know that the tube cell in the 1st videos idled the buggy  and we know that the cell couldn't produce more than one liter of hho even at 60amps.

so how did the engine idled with such low amount of hho?

the only way i can see the engine run on that little amount of hho is that he had to be creating something else.

Hohoho,

Not so quick.
The testreport on the Stan tubecell talks about 40 amps.
My tubecell is very close to the one of Stan.
When it ran on full load on the alternator, like 20V by 30 amps it was possible to get around 1 ltr a minute.
So, my 2 cents are that Stan was idle that Bug with something like1 max 2 litres a minute.
