When Stan is talking about coil ratio in his patent his example is 10:1 step up in comparison to primary and secondary.. He then says if he applies 12v then he gets 360volts spikes.. But he also says that with the chokes being the same amount of winds as secondary that its a 30:1

The voltage Stan is creating is higher then the output of the transformer based on wind ratio i think.. Stan is incrementally  (pulsing) which is displacing the electrons within the transformer.. His higher voltage is not based off of the ratio since it goes higher i do believe..

The way I imagine it is Stan has a transformer made to displace and oscillate continously.. Once it gets up to like say 5000volts, you can cut off input and the circuit will continue to oscillate due to the mechanical resonance that was achieved from the gated pulses.  It will oscillate until all the charge leaks back across the gap from negative to the positive..  Remember stan is not getting 0 amps.. There is still leakage across the gap..

This is why Stan says he can run the circuit in a resonant condition for 5 seconds then cut off the input and it will continue to output gasses for 94 seconds.. Its because he resonates a displacement in the coil and that displacement discharges at around 2 ma or so..

Thanks Don that one has been on my mind for a while..  I'm also curious to where the ANL/FREQ switch is connected and its function in the circuit... it looks to me like one of the wires is going to one of the switch 2 pads on the board..

If i were to guess what it is for i would say its to switch the bnc test output to send out 1 of 2 signals.. Either the variable amplitude or the cell drivers  output.. allowing one bnc connection to be easily switched between 2 signals?

Anyone have a clue about this?

How much energy in watts  per hour (or joules) needed to spend to convert 1 liter of water in gas? I am interested in the efficiency of the cell.

lets go with some information provided by stans control driver circuit international patent,

stan says at start up the vic will consume about 25 milliamps through the water

Stan states that in a resonant condition current leakage across the cell is 1-2 millamp

stans transformer is a 5:1 comparing secondary to primary

this means that with chokes and secondary wired in series he has a 15:1
if he has 100 percent power transfer on the core then with 12 volts in the transformer should be able to get 180 volts out at the least..

we know stan has a 10.5 ohm primary and a 72.5 ohm secondary

we know that stan used a 20 ohm resistor in parallel with primary giving 6.8 ohms resistance

the series chokes add up to around 218 ohms

ok 12 volts to the primary which has 6.8 ohms of parallel resistance

12v / 6.8 ohms = 1.76 amps
the resistor has twice the resistance then the coil so the coil accounts for 1/3 of the current

1.76amps / 3 = .58 amps

12v x .58 amps = 6.96 watts

so lets see if we can calculate the power in secondary..

if you are getting 100 percent power transfer in the core then the secondary will receive 6.96 watts of total force

6.96 watts / 180 volts = 38 millamps

*Note*  Not sure if any of this is correct also just because i say 180v output of the secondary does not mean thats the total voltage reached.. it is more or less the force applied during step charging..

heres a pic of my vic
I made the core out of a microwave transformer core.. I do not think there is enough interaction with the core and the winds because i do not get total suspected output..  my furthest wind from secondary reads about 4 volts while the secondary will read 18 and the one on the same ucore as primary reads around 7 volts.. the voltage reading being at the highest achievable output in the frequency range of 1-10khz

I am using 30gauge my secondary is 3000 winds as are my chokes.. they read about 75 ohms
my primary is 500 and it reads about 10 ohms

can someone share the math approach for converting the air core value of a inductor to one with a core? something to do with permittivity.. i think me and ancientmist were discussing at one time.. is it that you multiply the inductance value of a air core by the permittivity value of a core?

Techhbrief mentions for wiregauge 0.002, 0.004 and 0.03, what are these numbers (diameter?) and to which AWG do they correspond?

Seems to be in inches Alan

.00314 = 40 gauge so the .002 is smaller wire then 40 gauge
.00445= 37 gauge
.0359 = 19 gauge

Everything else in the world has a resonance based on it's mass, why not water too?

building/ Tuning a circuit to match the acoustic frequency of the cylinder I feel would promote the resonance of mass (water).

Hey Ed, go ahead and post up a video of this system in action. We all want to see the results you are chanting about for 2 or 3 years now.. 1mL of gas every 2 days doesn't count.

This is two people comparing and sharing notes effectively as we both can see what is taking place at the cell. I can't do this with you as you don't have the proper equipment to be able to share any information with me. Are you getting what I am telling you now? If not others that are reading this sure are.

Now thats funny Ed.. i remember when these scope shots your sharing first got shared like 2 years ago after your trip to tesla tech..  The scope shot that is not yours that you mention as someone else is one of  Max Millers scope shots.. And at the time there was a big debate about how your method was nothing like max setup.. There was no mutual agreements on configuration nor the process between you 2 guys.. That's why this is funny.. you trying to use another researchers scope shot as a second form of conformation to you works.. and your lying about it lol  "comparing and sharing effective" i just laughed so hard i think i pissed my self.. people would believe your claims of doing what stan did if you could show extraordinary production of HHO.. All I have ever seen from you is false claims of success.

Eds a funny guy,

As we all know he is applying alternating voltage to his cell which = alternating current... The high voltage he gets is from purified water.. A bunch of cells in series you get increased resistance and you get decreased capacitance.. allowing these types of voltage difference to occur across a series type load.. In his set up you can go ahead and divide the max voltage by the number of cells and that will be the total voltage to each cell.. so if he has +2kv across 10 cells he actually has 200 volts per cell..
We all know AC voltage will have another sort of loss due to its nature of rotating the molecules... so a lot more power will be going to heating them during the depolarizing and reverse polarizing process involved with AC power.. Same type of losses that occur in magnetic cores..  Ed would need +20kv to even begin reaching what Stan labeled as the threshold for molecule elongation.. this is whats needed for a series of 10 cells to each have 2kv...

Just my viewpoints on this situation..
resonant electrical stress is the term he uses for the use of both dynamic and static voltage input.. pure dc pulse of equal potential is a static pulse.. a unipolar pulse is dynamic.. combine them in a repeating sequence you get resonant electrical stress. since the chokes build up with there own potenial when it acts like ac but its not the same as ac.. ac is a push pull system from on side.. involving electron movement being forced on one side the neutral minus well be called ground in ac electric. understand that dynamic is a hole other force then static..
