Ive seen first hand a hot water cylinder that has been closed and the water run out of it and the copper cylinder sucked into itself under vacuum and then sent to scrap metal
It wouldve been easy to take it to a petrol station to blow it up with air and reuse it but it wasnt my call , not my cylinder
