A successful theory of operation has to apply to both the gas processor as well as the water cell.  There aren't any electrolysis bubbles changing the capacitance of the gas processor stage, so that's not how Meyer's system works.
Do not play with the timing, get the flame speed correct and it runs exactly the same as gasoline. The valve overlap is a problem. Engines with an EGR are better candidates.

I see you have a Y connector with an extra hose.  Is that from the exhaust?  (Or compressed air.)  Is that how you adjust the flow rate?

In my opinion, a muon catalysed fusion system is not dangerous at all.  The resulting neutrons are too cold to leave the container and even be detected.  The big issue I see is where do you get the muons?  Supposedly, there's very few of them around unless there's a super nova visible in the sky.  Did Horvath say anything about this?

I will admit that some people think muon catalysis is responsible for volcanic eruptions.  So there may be another source in nature.
The difference between a resister and a spark gap is the resister will not wait until the potential reaches a certain level before conducting.  The gap produces a steep leading edge rich in upper harmonics, compared to a sine wave from a resister.  Also, transient spikes tend to travel at differing speeds through a coil and this can make a scope unreliable.  Perhaps a spectrum analyzer across the cell would be better?

Sorry to hear about the health crisis.  I strongly recommend complete avoidance of any form of milk.  It makes the tumors grow too fast.  (Personal experience, following accidental irradiation 9 years ago.).  And I've been reading remarkable things about black cumin.

I completely agree with everything you say.

I'm going to start playing with my fan motor generator, driving a small hv transformer, with a spark gap on the secondary.  A MOT pulls around a kw but it should be possible to get the effect without so much power.  And I already wired up a little vic transformer.

I'll figure out some kind of test to see if coulomb repulsion will discharge the free electrons without added power input to that part of the circuit.  Free energy has been claimed like that in the past.
Right, electron extraction is phase 3.  It seems to me that this has to be accomplished with a single wire circuit.  Otherwise, with a complete loop electrons would be put back in, behind those which are pulled out.  Inductive spikes can place a charge deficit on a cap connected with just one wire.  So, when the flip flop switch shifts the pulse train from charging the cell to extracting the freed electrons, perhaps the other cell wire needs to be broken, momentarily?

What your talking about. ( It does not matter if the water has electrolyte in it either, at resonance the capacitor that is hooked up to the cell will maintain its charge across the cell!. )

I didn't think I had a capacitor across the cell, but after thinking about what you said, I finally recognized that the relay's tuning cap is, in fact across the cell when the relay is off, due to the way the buzzer is wired up.  When I pulled the cap, I lost all the jitter and also the residual voltage.  All that was coming from the cap, not the cell.  Thanks for helping me sort it out.

And the meter wire picking up the signal proximately was a case of inductive coupling, not an electroradiant effect.  The inductive spikes are not "radiant spikes".
Another issue I have with his 18 V. claim is that the light bulb is rated for mains voltage.  With capacitive coupling, the bulb is only getting what is fed to the tubes. His generator is a modified washing machine motor and is probably putting out 250 Volts.
That's a really good video, Steve; thanks for posting it.

He says the generator puts out 18 Volts, so the rectified pulses from one of the phases is passed through the MOT's primary, to feed the cell.  (May as well use a battery charger for testing) .  The part I don't get is how a 10 times step-up transformer can fire a spark plug with 18 V. on the primary?  Perhaps a really close spark gap.  And there's no hv diode, BUT the MOT's secondary circuit is a closed loop.  Firing the spark plug may affect the transformer's operation momentarily, but no hv is going to the cell.

The wire coming straight down to the top of the cell allows the wire's magnetic field to pull the bubbles inwards as they rise.  This likely causes the cell to output at least some amount of the less energetic Orthohydrogen.  That's good for bonding with turpentine vapor, but alternate wiring approach angles might be advisable.
In this video Stan discusses energy from Hydrogen so it's not the same thing as the Oxygen from his cold fusion patent.  The thing I liked was the rubber band analogy, where stretching it causes it to heat up, the same as the electron bonds.  I know this heating does happen because of the way epoxy heats up severely when stirred just before it cures.  The wfc stays cool and that proves the electron extraction circuit is working.  There is a lot of sub quantum energy available from Hydrogen, and when released, this energy is replenished by the sun.

The two paragraphs above that are also relevant. 

When he talks about electron leakage, he means from one plate to the other - through the water.  So this resistor is draining the electrons which would other wise flow through the cell. This resistor is shown as "60" in FIG. 6 and "75" in FIG. 7.  It's mentioned in the abstract, and in claim #33.
Funny to know that the VIC has its own floating ground, probably to prevent the charged cell to leak to ground.

The way Stan talks about it in the patent, I thinks he WANTS to drain the charge. He keeps saying the cell will arc between the plates, even at 5.5V or 8V. Then, right at the end he says it won't short out at just about any voltage if the negative plate is grounded through a resister. This resister probably needs to be at the opposite end from the negative connection, to prevent a strip line effect.

I just picked up a nice four cylinder 33 cubic inch military spec boat motor at a yard sale. So I'm going back to working on my Injector project. I'll use the back two cylinders for the compressor, then put pressure and hot water through the plugs , into the front two cylinders. Then hit it with my electrostatic fire ball spark. Just to see what happens. And thanks to Hydrocars for bringing me back on track.
Thanks Steve.  And thanks for posting the video.  It clears up a few points.  Stan's discussion of the Electrical Polarization Process gives the impression that it would be more accurate to say that the covalent bonds are "defeated", by increasing the distance between the atoms within the water molecule, rather than "switched off", which implies something mysterious.  Another important fact is that the pulses are being produced by a motor driven alternator.  He says the voltage - and the gas production - can be increased by using a larger pulley on the drive motor.  Spinning the alternator faster will increase its output voltage, but that would also increase the frequency of the pulse trains.  So the Water Fuel Cell doesn't have to be frequency dependent (based on electrode spacing).  This version doesn't operate in resonance.

The motor driving the alternator looks like it's between five and ten hp, by comparison to a golf cart motor's physical size.  This motor is the primary load on the battery.  So the difference between this motor's power and that of the engine is absolute proof of significant Over Unity in the system's operation.  Stretching the water molecules until they fall apart takes considerably less energy than is given back by burning the resultant gasses.  However, the power of the engine itself is unclear.  A 1500 cc VW engine is normally around 100 hp, which is much more than would be needed for the size of this vehicle.  Although Stan says the engine is unmodified, he also says it acts as an air pump, along with the mechanical output.  This reminds me of a jack hammer compressor, which is a V8 engine running on four cylinders, with the other four cylinders configured as the air compressor.  Depending on how much compressed air is needed, he may just be using two of the cylinders for the compressor.  So the vehicle's actual power could be between 50 and 75 hp.  Which would be plenty, and still definitely OU.

Stanley Meyer came up with something really important.  It's unfortunate that his business philosophy was "Demonstrate the prototype, then constantly improve it before marketing".  What he has in this video could have been put into production, as Model A, then improvements would have insured an on-going market.  And it would have been ON the market.

One part of the video which is a little ambiguous is it looks like they take a gasoline tank off after the engine gets started running.  Does the engine need to get up to speed (on petrol) before it can be switched over to water?  Would a starter tank of compressed air make a difference?

All in all, this video is very helpful, and I really appreciate the efforts of everyone down the line who made it available.
It would be nice if I could run my truck on batteries without having to change the engine to an electric motor.  But even if I could, how big would the battery need to be?  With a lead/acid battery, the basic rule is that if you don't want to ruin the battery, you can only pull 1/20 of the amp hour rating.  This means that a deep cycle battery rated at 100 Amp/hrs will only be good for 5 Amps, on a long term basis.  (I know this is true because I have a bunch of dead batteries sitting around.)  So, a 100 hp motor would need a 12 Volt lead/acid battery which would be rated at 125,000 Amp/hr.  His battery doesn't look anywhere near that big.  There must be something besides the battery powering the motor.  Perhaps it's cold fusion, just as Stan says?

VIC = Balun?

Hi Steve,

You may have hit on something when you said the word balun.  But what if it's the exciter array itself which is acting as a balun?  The way he has the sets of coaxial tubes connected in series, with two 90 degree bends in each of the jumper wires.  Each jumper is a half turn inductance.  If it was strictly to add the resistance values, a straight diagonal wire would work.
