Well it looks like a quartz tube won't be to hard to get a hold of so I'll go with that.
I forgot to mention but I'm sure you guys got it without me telling you. The gass I'm trying to ionize is between the inner and outer tube in contact with the positive electrode

Steve I agree with you, the theory seems possible but Stans built seems to have a lot of flaws. The only positive thing about using a tube instead of a point is extracting electrons with the EEC. Would it not be easier with a bigger surface? I don't know?

I pretty much have all the parts laying around for how I want to build the gas gun, except for the photon energy. I'm not going to follow Stan's design but focus on how I think it should be built using Stan's theory. I have also redesigned the circuit so the EEC is much simplier. I'm in school for two more weeks but after that I'll start a thread in my project section.

Bubz, I've read about Stans lens. I don't think a lens would really do anything special. I mean it would just concentrate the light to a point? not increase the frequency.

I tried some things similar to this but that was before I had a scope so I didn't gain anything from it. What I did notice is a drop in voltage when I did not use an appropriate resister. I believe I remember reading that you were seeing 15k volts? How has adding this resistor/ground effected your voltage measurements?

Dynodon, if you are watching this topic maybe you can shed a little light on something you once posted. I believe you said in Stans Vic the ground he shows in his schematics was not hooked up to anything? Anyway my question is was there an absence of the ground lead or was it an option Stan had and it just wasn't hooked up? Hopefully I remember your statement correctly but if not, maybe you can shed some light on that too.

Great topic to being up. When you are doing your experiments, do you have the ground hooked up between the secondary and L2 or connected to the electrode? Stan shows both. Anyway I would imagine we would need less resistance if the ground was placed between the secondary and L2 since the coil will block amp flow.

Yeah, Russ got them printed from the same guy I pointed hms too who also made my bobbins. I think he might be a bit overloaded right now. Try the forum And if that doesn't work out, look for someone that does 3G printing, it costs so much less and I need more sets as well
gasoline is much slower burning than Hho, so I see what your saying. That's why Stan had to slow down the burn rate. Mixing gas into the water could be interesting. I worry about the effects it would have on my cell housing. Gasoline is an ugly thing. Also how do you think the rate of gas to Hho would be controlled? Temp? I would think you would have to ad more gas to the water

if the core was around 1000 perm wouldn't it be out of the Vic cards working frequency range?

What kind of dense gas do you think they are talking about? If they are adding in negative ions they would attach themselves to the oxygen, would the gas still be combustible at this point?

Or maybe you have a different opinion?  :)
Don, If that's what you think the problem is, maybe you can do some tests to see if your right. Just see if you can change the wave form. Maybe you can lower your resonant frequency or increase your load or inrease your input voltage. Maybe if it's not to inconvenient you could wrap a primary with less turns and thicker wire

Sebs is that what you mean by unipolar pulses and ac resonant voltage? This would be like having a static and alternating field?

It's a little different than that, chokes are still used for voltage gains and amp restriction, What you need is a high voltage field that switchers polarity. I think there is an array of ways you could produce this effect

Interesting work, have you gotten a scope shot from the L2 side? Is it still an ac wave form? I kind of think that's what we need to get it to work. Thanks for sharing, I'll try it when I get home, hopefully by then you can tell me what else your doing?

Hms, that is exactly what I have found from my experiments, L1 is in resonance and L2 is restricting amp flow. We often think of the Wfc as a capacitor but it only functions as a capacitor because of the Vic. I think the high voltage is created elseware in the circuit, not the series resonance, I mean that wouldnt make sense.  The L2 choke is really something special. With my first Vic set up I messed around with the inductance of the L2 choke a lot. There seems to be perrameters but I could increase the inductance and voltage would also rise.

Ps Alex petty claims to have a proof of concept set up. It's interesting and it is proof of concept in my opinion. What I don't understand is what the difference is about his set up or even in my own set up. I ordered a lot of testing equipment so hopefully I will be able to show you guys some sound data soon
