Well there are some papers out there about this you can find them yourselves.. a quick explanation of how this works..I'm sure you've heard of multi-photon excitation-absorption right? And absorption spectra of each element you can look up in chem textbooks anyway some papers say that when you give photonic energy in a specific wavelength region e.g. water bonds start to vibrate and reaction rates increase making the molecule unstable and increasing hydrogen production.. that can be also applied to air and fuel that goes into an engine and fits well with gmnt explosion or however meyer called it..  spectra band is in the IR range..

I'm not very familiar with multipactor devices but if the electret's field is used for adding strength to the cathodes how will you control the on/off timing? I don't care about holes in theories post your ideas I can help.. only thing I can think of now is a pick up coil and to pulse the electrons... I only need to get like 5% of the energy out for this to work.

ok dave I have figured out how to accelerate them without energy cost but the problem is how to get energy out of the system...or I can just build an x-ray machine that works with a 12V battery

The self ionization process that you say is because water doesnt have neutral pH and it dissociates itself reversibly making H3O+ and OH-, if you pass nitrogen nothing will happen because the oxidized species don't exist long enough and nitrogen is a neutral molecule you will need some kind of metal catalyst to do a reaction or photoinitiation which is what happens in the clouds that forms nitric acid , acid rain e.t.c.

The electric field is imaginary as it doesn't follow the movement of the causative particle. If you rotate a particle then the electric field doesnt rotate with it. The magnetic field is up to debate.
