Thats where the duty cycle comes into play , we must stop the voltage just before arcing , then start over again and let new air fill the gap . There is no real way to sense the current and stop the voltage just in time quickly enough other than duty cycle and trial and error .
If you need help in desiging a circuit for some experiments I can do this .
Ionization is more the type of thing that can be done this is the direction this forum should take .

QuoteThere is no real way to sense the current and stop the voltage
there is a way and its called resonance.. it when a coil drops in amp and voltage rises in a circuit.... so to know when to stop current you need a circuit that can detect a change in current and adjusts to keep it at it minimal.. wouldnt that be the pll circuit with its winding? on the core? its constantly trying to maintain the high voltage while it fluxuate to the changing of dielectric resistance since during production it cannot remain constant it fluxes due to gasses and change in variables. -

What I see is a lot of variables in the voltage of your power supply.
To a point at and or near corona discharge would be a adjustment of your electrode spacing.
I don't think corona discharge is needed for the ionization but just a vicinity ionization.
In case of corona discharge and then a real short-arc there would be a ballast or maybe some coils to help restrict current from flowing over and drawing to high to effect the power supply. Its almost like a safety.
When I stuck my ionizer in a water bath you figure it should have shorted the power supply. I imagine the resistance of the windings to current flow saved the power supply.
I thought resonance is the condition where the current and voltage are both at matching peaks to each other. A PLL and pick-up winding would adjust the frequency so the peaks are in unison. At that point it becomes the most efficient and current will drop or be at its highest efficiency. In our situations for cell type circuits I understand the voltage rises too. I wonder if voltage rises because we don't use a earth ground, its floating reacting with the transformer?
Here's a video from Jetijs on the ionization and the self wind it creates.
Also note I think his positive electrode is just a single centralized straight piece appears on the side and the negative is a frame of some sort.
With this setup it appears the ionization is done in general vicinity and its hard to see any corona discharge.
Very nice simple and informative.

Resonance... Not to be confused with "Resonant Action". These are totally two different things happening in the same device but different locations in the device working in tandem, sort of... Every coil has self resonant frequencies. The resonance we are looking for is a parallel type resonance where our voltage rises to infinity and the current drops very low. I mentioned earlier about visualizing a coil as a magnet. each coil has a north and south pole. What happens when we resonate both wires in our coil but each coils polarity is reversed from each other? We have an electrical tension. In a perfect world, a non-inductive coil like ours has the electromagnetic field canceled due to the direction of the current in each wire being opposite of each other. Well, this clearly is not a perfect world and not all of the magnetic field is canceled out. Small compressed rays of electromagnetic energy is radiating out the sides of the coil where the wires do not touch. Some call these scalar waves, or a type of interference pattern. Being that there is some EM energy, a core can store this energy more efficiently and be used, somehow.
The beauty of this coil, when properly tuned to how it's used, it can act like a large capacitor where you step charge it till the threshold voltage is reached and it discharges the energy it stored. Not only that, remember that a coil is resistant to rapid changes in current so it can't release a lot of current quickly like a capacitor does. It's rather hard to explain. So, once it reaches that snap, it starts over. All the energy is kept bundled up in the chokes and keeping the voltage high at the same time, making the water look like just another resistive medium. We tune an ionizer for the dielectric of the air, we tune the WFC for the dielectric of the water. I also mentioned earlier about how each turn of a coil can increase in voltage as you progress down the coil. Each coil is inducing it's opposite field into each other creating more tension in this particular bifilar setup. Some call it a tensor coil.
I am sorry but my thoughts are jumping back and forth and my writing is fragmented. I hope I'm not confusing anyone. The chokes are where some of the magic is at and I find it hard to explain it in a sensible way. I'm going to end here with the chokes by saying, though the chokes are needed for many purposes, they are not really contributing to the resonant action in the cell. Having resonant chokes in the system does not ensure gas production. If not done right you won't see anything and have really no clue why?

Resonant Action and Resonant Cavities
This is the final puzzle for me and I haven't quite figured it out yet. At least not that I am aware of. I still have a few tricks up my sleeve for these special occasions but this is starting to get complicated. Well, so it seems...
My biggest question though at this point is "How do I know what to look for when a resonant cell is resonating?"
The Resonant Action Stan describes is pretty basic to comprehend, although, I have not a clue as to anything else in the world that bounces particles back and forth like Stan describes. Except for a tubed wind instrument like a flute or clarinet. In our case we have a tube with a rod in the middle of it. how does this affect resonance?
Thinking out loud... Can we get a similar effect with ionized air? Since it is a resonant cavity, I would imagine in resonance, the cell should make a whistling sound. Do the resonant chokes need to be specifically designed to a certain frequency that matches the resonant frequency of the cell?
I need to think about this for a bit. Here is a quote from "Atomic Energy Balance of Water" for review.
Resonant Propagation
These highly energized and liberated water bath atoms, now, causes Resonant Action to occur at a progressive rate during continued voltage stimulation ... giving way to the following operational parameters of hydrogen gas production for energy utilization from natural water:
Resonant Action(point of particle oscillation) occurs when applied pulse voltage frequency is adjusted to tune-in" to the Dielectric Resonance of water via voltage Intensifier Circuit whereas, applied voltage amplitude which is independent of Resonance Frequency is adjusted to cause water bath atoms to
momentarily enter into Liquid-to-gas ionization state .... ejecting negative charged electrons… forming positive charged atoms having missing electrons ... forming negative charged atoms by electrons capture.
Compounding Action(deflection of electrical charged particles) by way of voltage stimulation aids Resonant Action by superimposing particle impact onto to the Electrical Polarization Process.
I think I was understanding this a little backward...

You've been posting some good stuff. It's nice to see you are doing original thinking and research into Stan's material. There are far too few people doing this.
As Stan lays it out, it appears resonant action and ionization are the result of simply advancing and improving on the VIC circuit.
Taking it to higher voltage levels and getting a better understanding of the pulsing. Building better VIC's.
You might notice Stan built this cell:
before he built the Hydrogen Gas Gun, or at least this is my current understanding.
This cell is a resonant cell, it's in the Resonant Cavity Patent, it's in the Tech brief, and it's in the lectures.
I believe he learned a lot from this cell and the resonant action that he describes, before he moved on to the Hydrogen Fracturing Process.

Your doing a great job Bubz!
Maybe we should just stick to the main topic and keep the flow going.
We can always come back to resonance at another time, there seems to be some variable here that makes it tough. -

Bubz,
Resonant action. Where to look for is the right question.
With coils and caps, we are looking for a high Q-factor.
Meaning that when you hit the parallel or serie LC circuit, you will have energy bouncing back and forwards till the resistance and current leaking is consuming the power.
In a perfect setup, you will pulse the circuit once and you will see the power bouncing couple of seconds afterwards....
Stan said in one of his resonant quotes that he pulsed the cell and the gasproduction was continuing after the puls for a period.
If you look at his setup with use of coils, there is only one idea coming up on how it might work in my point of view. Its related to Dan Danfort's theory and schematics as well. He had talked to Stan in person.
The theory is that you hit the watercell with a dc puls, till current starts to flow.
Sofar its plain electrolysis.
When the current is flowing, all watermols are getting allignent.
The path for HV is now created.
So, when the LV/current pulse is gone, the coils bemf hits back into the watercell and takes the just made aligned molecule path.
The HV peak of the bemf must be higher then 1500V before the mols start ringing, according to Dan's theory.
The one doesn't work with the other. Only HV is not working. Only LV and current is plain electrolysis. But but should show some wonders.

to oscillate orbital electrons you must be able to send the electron in the direction of pos plate and back toward the neg plate... this would be done i think with a balanced swinging of voltage..
during pulse on time electrons get pulled toward the pos.. during off time the pull power is being lessen from pos and the negative is being lessen as well.. them both swinging back towards 0 will allow that tension the atom has from the electrical force to generate its swing the opposite direction... since when voltage rises and neg push electron and positive pull electron they both work together and alter electrons in that direction.. when bemf off time the negative and postive are shooting back to 0 they will spring back the opposite direction...
while this is happening your pos choke is taking on excess difference (charing) which is appearing as 0 since the negative is matching the opposite due to the magnetic coupling ... so when pulsing stops it relies on the orbital electrons in water to continue to drive the circuit to discharge not the differences themselves since they are coupling on a core and really dont mind there displacment for the most part??? -
#35 · date not recorded
i image that the back emf is effecting the secondary and negative electrically and as they swing in the opposite direction the positive choke having a charge resists negative choke back emf to go positive.. if it pos choke holds positive potential and the negative chokes bemf is what would be a posotive result then the means the pos and neg choke would then repel each other... that repelling force would cushion bemf i think.. -

I was talking with komtek and realized I was kind of going on a rant. I think it would be best if I stuck to a specific area in efforts to keep the confusion at a minimal. I think I may have an idea for an easy and cheap test that may shed more light on the subject.
Let's take a closer look at a WFC injector. It's design is basic and similar to other inventions in that it is tubular. Some of you may be familiar with some experiments on other forums with spark plugs and water. If I remember correctly, this train of thought was started by a video posted by s1r9a9m9 along with a story that had been circulating the net. Well, the idea was a good one, but I didn't keep an eye on the progress long enough to see if any one would ever figure out the electrodes of the spark plug was not the best idea. To look at a WFC injector in a new way, it is basically an air ionizer in a tube form. instead of the plate being out in the open air, we are isolating the device and only putting through our special blend. Water, exhaust, and ionized air. You shouldn't have to make an injector to get the same results in a way to see the process work. We just have to be creative. We have a few options with electrode design and we have some options for the driver circuitry... What ideas do you guys have?
oops I forgot the blend also has the ionized HHO... that would sort of make a big difference. -

Sorry for any leading along.
As I was still interested in the basic ionizer setup and maybe all the related data has not yet been set forth.
Yes the ionzer spreads all-over into the various parts.
Somehow I thought resonant and resonance of the WFC were off topic and stirred alot of interest but at the same time several answers still did not show tell explain exactly the point.
Bubz was doing a pretty good job and Steve has input some reference here.
WFC resonance is very touchy to acheive, and its a huge subject and needs massive experimentation. Still over the years I have not seen the real magic maybe its a fairy tale but the few people have acheived this magic and to input the information and details in our minds of that moment and working at it and not seeing the result is sort of depressing, never giving up sucks up your time and costs money. I can just imagine how many coils we have all built to find the result. I have a box getting full of them, actually a few small box's and that includes lathed and milled bobbins.
The time-constant between the plates, the first pulsing charge making its alignment, step charging through the coil. When all details are figured properly the current lowers and the voltage rises. Q factor is the efficiency. The efficiency is when the current wave form is in line with the voltage wave form and can be acheived by frequency change and is to due with inductive and capacitive values, where it all match's.
You look at it and see a dualism, but its really one circuit properly made and tuned.
No one has found it and published the details other than the you know who's. We are struggling here big time.
To tie all of it together it's the magic would like to have.
Do you know how many days nights and how much time I've spent its near depressing.
Thats why I'm after other details and areas and need to give this part a rest.
We can read books patents details all night and day and talk about it for years but in the plain overview no-one has put their finger on this.
Yeh you can explain it but you can't make it.
Don't tell me thats not depressing in some sort of way.
Looks like Bubz wants to talk about the WFC injector, sounds good to me.
Personally I think the injector should not do the mixing of the air-exhaust-water.
This should be done at a small manifold with adjustment capabilty maybe in the form of a needle and seat to be able to adjust each level of the 3 various gas supplies. Also its very simple to install a small window and small laser source.
When you get to this point who will analyze and balance the 3 supply gasses?
It appears a ionizer is setup right after the mixing of the supply gasses. And that could have details also, just like ionizers we were talking about but a different body and electrode design.
Let me throw out something thats bothering me about this.
What drives the gases into this mixing manifold, they need a pump to create pressure. What pumps are available? What drives the pump?
There are various methods.
Maybe we could all shed some light on the parts of this circuit.
Sounds like its getting harder, maybe there's a vacuum method or something that is much more simpler and easier? -

Komtek, I feel bad as you bring up the point of demonstrated evidence. I can see where this all looks as a charade of "I Know The Secret" crap that you see on the forums everyday. I do not want to be known as such a person, but, I'd rather you make up your own minds and do what you think is right or pertinent. I will be showing working prototype stuff as I go along so this won't be a some bullshit story. My goal really is to point out how easy it is to understand all this. Nothing is mysteriously magic or a miracle. These words are only used when one does not care to ponder the secrets of the heavens. I guess it's just because that's the way God made it!
If you want a good place to start, get yourself any low powered cheap air ionizer, well, make that two of them. One positive, and one negative. We need to either build or buy an ion detector too. I have one I made that I modified to detect both in one box. I'll take a video of my stuff as soon as I have time. I would imagine a week or two tops? If you want to see how atomized water reacts to the ionizer's field, you can buy any cheap ultrasonic humidifier and point the mist through it. Maybe one of you have these items on hand and can make a video before I do? Or pictures would do. Komtek, you said you had an NST? That will come in handy. Maybe you can tell me more about it. -

Bubz yes there's stuff available in the ol garage to play with:
Large NST 15kv 30ma but this thing is too much weighs a good amount of poundage.
Small NST 6kv don't know the ma its still in a box somewhere here. Size easy to work with.
Spa ionizer that just needs clock timer disabled. Another easy to work with. Based on flyback circuit.
3 6-1's and one of those was designed and made to output an enormous voltage, 1 has blown choke wire due to arcing, 2 are usable.
Other home made transformers with HV possibility's, I thinks I may have center tapped one of those.
2 microwave trans that have possibility's.
Stainless screen - stainless rods - etc.
Pond fogger ultrasonic device.
Poundages of various magnet wire and bobbins and cores.
Can wind any transformer easily.
Sorry about the list, but just to show the availability of some pieces needed.
With respect to others a determined mentality that fails to see the control aspect of building these devices.
There's the lack of electronic knowledge needed to control the various circuit and output potentials.
I kick myself for not putting this area together. -

I would like to point out that I do not own very much equipment, especially lab grade tools like scopes and high voltage measuring devices. When I make a device like a Tesla Coil or anything high voltage over 1Kv, I can only approximate it's parameters. Sure I can measure input to the device, but that's about it. Basically all I use is a multimeter, LCR meter, signal generator, and a light bulb or two. Oh, and the ion detector comes in handy once or twice.

Guess I'm just a little frustrated.
Just have to jump in and start some HV experiments, put something together.

OK, a friend and I were talking and he showed me a really nice video that I would like to show all of you.
A description from the sale @ eBay
The coil has three output methods:
Capacitive coupling - this is where the plasma is created between the two plates
Surface Tracking - this is where the coil has glass elements attached with metal edges and the high voltage sparks from in inner to the outer rim.
Straight output - this is where the two sides of the coil spark to one another in a raw display of high voltage power
The specs are:
15 kv 30 ma neon sign transformer
Plastic capacitors 40kv .01 mf capacitor
Adjustable parallel bar spark gap
Squirrel cage type blower for spark gap quenching
This coil is interesting and fun to experiment with. Suitable for use in the classroom, physics labratory, even in your livingroom if not for extended periods. (as it creates ozone, which isn't good to breathe in heavy concentrations)
Makes an awesome conversation piece. I've had it in my den for some time, and it never fails to get the "What the heck is that thing?" questions. Which of course provides a good opprotunity to fire it up.
Desperate times call for desperate measures so I'm putting her on the market.
Any flaws that you see in the pics (dust/wood chips/ect) will be fixed before she ships out.
Thanks for looking.

Hey Bubs, great video, I was actually thinking about tesla coils today and looking into a few things.
I am working on a thought that the VIC is two tesla coils in one. One of the tesla coils is the primary, secondary, and positive choke and positive plate. The second tesla coil is the negative plate, the negative choke, and it's isolated ground. The first tesla coil works independently with the primary and secondary, which then injects it's stepped up voltage into the positive choke, which can be thought of as a continuation of the secondary, the negative choke is exactly tuned to the positive choke and coupled 1:1 to create the equal and opposite negative signal that the positive choke has. The plates you can think of as the "top load" with water in between them instead of air.

I believe the air ionizer does the same thing as the water gas process.
Water Gas is when you pass steam over hot red coal, Something ionizes "I Forget" and a synthetic Gas is made.
http://www.rexresearch.com/meyerhy/4389981.htm, But stan describes a ("Synthetic") Gas being applied to his intake,, Which is what you get http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_gas
There results a new synthetic gas. The synthetic gas formation stage also volume meters and determines the proper gas-mixing ratio for establishing the desired burn-rate of hydrogen gas. The rotational mechanical gas displacement system in that process determines the volume-amount of synthetic gas to be produced. -

Donald, you and I think a lot alike. I too pondered your very idea and still do. The Tesla Coil and the VIC are not quite the same, although, you bring up a very good point and it should be researched a little deeper. In the book "Secrets of Cold War Technology" by Gerry Vassilatos, He explains a bit about what we see a Tesla Coil as today and really how Tesla used his coils. When you see a TC sparking and stuff, that version of it is made famous by Sir Oliver Lodge. He sort of reinvented the TC with AC instead of DC and called it a Tesla Coil. the TC was not intended to do such things. It was only one of many for a wireless power network. Tesla describes his process as the opposite of radio, where he used virtually no EM energy on the top side of the coil. most of the energy was utilized through the earth. Stiffler and Meyl have a ton of useful information if any of you haven't read their material or replicated their work.

SCALAR TRANSLATORS
by
Joseph John Misiolek
05/02/91
Note: Accompanying diagrams (Fig_A.GIF thru Fig_D.GIF)
are saved in 640*350 resolution w/16 colors.
Overview:
Before we begin, for those of you new to the art, a translator is a device
which can 'convert' EM energy into SCALAR or vice versa.
When coverting EM energy to SCALAR, what you are actually doing is attempting
to create a subtructure in which the energy is folded in on itself in such a
way that it manifests no external net effects in the manner in which our
current test equipment (single stage interaction) is designed to detect,
but rather, maintains all of its energy within the substructure itself
(hyperspace), in other words, SCALAR WAVES.
These types of waves are quite capable of penetrating conventional
forms of em shielding (Faraday Cages) while remaining quite invisible
to standard (single stage) detection methods.
They are created by deliberately opposing the E and/or B field components of
ordinary em waves. Devices designed to encourage this type of wave formation
are called TRANSLATORS.
A translator which can only convert EM to scalar or scalar to EM is known as
a 'one-way' device. There are certain types of translators which are
capable of converting freely from EM to scalar and back. These devices are
known as 'two-way' devices. Lets take a closer look at some of the one-way
devices.
ONE-WAY TRANSLATORS
A one way translator (EM-scalar) is extremely simple to construct. In
fact, the typical home or apartment is literally FULL of these devices now!
Consider the common two conductor lamp cord used on many lights, small
appliances, and radios.
This cord is commonly referred to as 'zip cord'. As the current surges
through the first wire, the second wire is carrying the return current in
the opposite direction. The EM fields whirling about the conductors are in
opposition.
Up until now, most of you were taught that the fields, while in opposition,
'cancel' each other out. Does this mean that the energy contained in those
fields is destroyed? OF COURSE NOT!
We CANNOT destroy energy. We CAN cause it to change its form and this is
precisely what happens when fields in opposition 'cancel' out.
As the current oscillates through the wires, an oscillating SCALAR WAVE
results. If a direct current is applied to the wire pair, a 'static' scalar EM
field results.
Wire Pair Translator:
Tests have shown that the 'zip cord' described above, while conducting a
60 cycle alternating current, will generate a 120 cycle scalar em wave.
Here we have the first (and perhaps the most basic) type of translating
device. A single conductor folded in half and parallel will produce a
scalar wave if it is fed energy from an alternating current source. This
basic translator is at the heart of the next device.
Non-Inductive (Bifilar) Translator:
Let us now take our simple translator and wind it into a helical shape. We
have just created what is commonly known as a non-inductive (bifilar) coil.
Such coils are copious one-way emitters of these waves as well.
Unlike the simple translator above which will produce horizontally
or vertically polarized scalar waves (depending on their orientation to the
ground plane), this type of translator will produce circularly polarized
scalar waves.
A variation of this type of translator is to wind the coil on a 45 degree
angle up and down the length of the form creating a series of 90 degree
intersections where the windings cross (caduceus coil).
These types of translators (which can also be wound at other angles to
facilitate the production of different wave types) tend to create 'free'
A, 'free' B, or 'free' E fields which have been separated from the em
source wave by selective cancellation of the unwanted component fields of
the source wave.
Bucking Coil Translator:
Another type of translator that I have experimented with consists of
two coils (air-core) arranged so that the fields oppose or 'buck' against
one another.
All that is necessary for this translator to produce scalar waves is an
alternating source of current with the coils wired so that the north and
south poles created by the coils oppose each other.
The region between the coils where the north/south poles oppose is known as
the ZPE (zero-point energy) zone. Although scalar substructures are created
in the zpe, this type of translator is not exceptionally efficient due to the
flux leakage at the other end of the coils. (The accompanying diagram will
clarify this.)
This was one of the two types of translators discovered and examined by
Nikola Tesla. If you refer to his 1904 lecture in London, you will notice
that the demonstration coil Tesla used which was encased in a zinc box
(Faraday Cage), had a secondary coil that consisted of two halves wound
oppositely.
The coils as described in that book would have created a zpe zone between
them. The field would have been capable of penetrating the zinc box,
(whereas normal em waves would not) and this is most likely how Tesla
stumbled onto it. There is at least one other translator Mr. Tesla
stumbled onto which we shall discuss next.
Lenzs' Law Translator:
In Tesla's Colorado Springs diary (1899-1900) he noted that he was
experiencing a problem in keeping the top turns of his coils from shorting out
due to breakdown of the insulation on the wires under the high electric
potential he was creating.
In effect, the top turns were shorted, closed loop conductors positioned on
top of the operating section of the coil. If you ever had physics in
high school, you will remember Le Chatelier's Principle:
WHENEVER WE UNDERTAKE ANY ACTION TO CHANGE AN EXISTING
PHYSICAL SYSTEM, THE SYSTEM REACTS IN SUCH A WAY AS TO
OPPOSE OUR ACTION.
By applying this principle to the interactions of currents and magnetic
fields, we have Lenzs' Law. This means the the field being radiated by the
operating (un-shorted) portion of the Tesla oscillator, caused a counter
field of opposite energy to be created in the shorted turns.
The zone between the functioning and reciprocating areas of the coil is a zpe
zone very similar to the zone created in the bucking coil translator.
This was the second translator that Tesla had discovered. By constructing
a Tesla oscillator, and fixing a shorted loop to the top, we may produce
powerful scalar emissions.
Multiple Antenna Translator:
This method of producing scalar waves lends itself to the production of
powerful scalar beams which can be used in military (weapon)
applications.
The basic idea here is to use pairs or arrays of antennae spaced at 1/4 or 1/2
wave intervals, and possibly log-periodic arrays and yagi-type configurations
as well, which are fed rf energy and wired in such a way as to cause
total or partial phase conjugation of the waves projected from them.
The antennae may consist of any combination of the antennae now in use for
communications in any band desired. Consult the Radio Amateurs Handbook
for antenna types and configurations. The possibilities here are alomost
endless and are well beyond the scope of this text.
Well thats all for now. Serious researchers are invited to contact me here
through the message section of this BBS for information exchange and think
tank discussions. Post Mail to Joseph Misiolek.
Vangard note...
To assist in a further understanding of Le Chatelier's Principle and Lenz'
Law, we include the full definition from Van Nostrand's Scientific
Encyclopedia.
* * * * * * * * * * *
Le Chatelier's Principle
Let us perturb a system which is initially in stable equilibrium to
a neighboring non-equilibrium state. Since the initial equilibrium is
supposed to be stable, the system will return to an equilibrium state.
Theorems governing the behavior of perturbed systems are often known as
"theorems of constraint" or "theorems of moderation." The best known
thermodynamic theorem of moderation is that of Le Chatelier-Braun which in the
form stated by Le Chatelier is:
"Any system in chemical equilibrium undergoes, as a result
of a variation in one of the factors governing the
equilibrium, a COMPENSATING CHANGE in a direction such
that, had this change occurred alone it would have produced
a variation of the factor considered in the OPPOSITE
DIRECTION."
However, this principle suffers from a number of important exceptions. it
is therefore preferable to study the "moderation" starting from the
usual thermodynamic formalism without invoking a special principle.

Lenz' Law
A general law of electrodynamic induction, stated by H. F. E. Lenz in 1833.
It points out that the electromotive force induced by the variation of
magnetic flux, with reference to a conductor, in the manner discovered by
Faraday, is always in such direction that, if it produces a current, the
magnetic effect of that current opposes the flux variation responsible for
both electromotive force and current.
An outstanding illustration is the drag on a generator armature; if
the armature circuit is closed, the rotation is opposed by a torque arising
from the reaction between the field and the current in the armature conductors.
Power must therefore be applied to drive the machine; and the greater the
armature current, the more power is required.
The effect known as MAGNETIC DAMPING also depends upon Lenz' law.
A copper disk, when spun between the poles of a strong magnet, quickly comes
to rest because of the opposing torque. This arrangement serves as a speed
regulator in watt-hour meters.

I take it since the ionizer will use its own EHD or MHD effect so particles build up and circulate in a vicinity of near proximety unless other air currents would move them further.
But what of the oxidizing process, in this most basic form of ionizing air?
Lets consider a few test situations.
Auto intake, installed in the airfilter sounds good but what of the mass air-flow sensor right after the intake does it suffer oxidations and ruin the sensor?
Older auto without sensors, in air filter above carburator, what happens to the carburator body over time?
Do we mix hydroxyl with it?
Will hydroxyl ignite if going past corona discharges, if so it must be installed after ionizer electrodes.?
Other applications would be a weld torch, cooking burner, furnace heater, etc.
What are the effects of oxidation to surrounding metal parts?
Once this is figured is there a line of too much or too little ozone to create the proper effect, so a controlled output may be in order.
By looking at Meyers drawings of the patents or memo's you see this process being used completely throughout the whole automobile.
In order to start what would you suggest as to the most basic form of electrode and maybe how to create a control for the process.
From reading other patents there is a point of too much, how can we determine whats too much ozone?
Just trying to see what you got in mind for applying and controlling the process maybe in just a test apparatus.
In case anyone needs a link to see Tesla patent:
just a note... the electron extraction process where electrons are consumed prevents the formation of Ozone...
