A fuel cell derives its potential from the ionization of hydrogen in one electrode by catalytic action.

I aways thought a way where we could insert hydrogen but collect more than 1,23v per reaction....

    Potential energy don't get consumed?

    Nice video thanks!

Would it be possible to just use ss plates in a fuel cell? Its seems to me it would just be way less efficient but would it work?
the oxidation and reduction reactions would still take place, its just the opposite of what we are doing in your electrolysis cells?
