There is an error in this schematic, in the resonant scanning circuit bipolar switches are needed like indicated in the first schematic and the 15 pin of the decade counter must be connected to the ground . The rest is pretty much the same as mine...

Hi everyone,
I have a problem. please help me. I download and built from www.globalkast.com , by tony woodside, Complete VIC Circuit . Everything is ok , I use 12 volt but it couldn't work. Where am I is wrong. I havent make any adjust. I added some pictures . only two leds lighting . Also I couldnt get any square wave in oscilloscop. is there anyone to help me ?

steve i wouldnt realy care about that comment we are bold of knowing that patent circuit needs special treatment to work...
i would split into 3 parts... the oscilator the power supply and the output..
the oscilator is what determine the repetition frequency seems to be related to the fet used..
the powersupply seems a pushpull arrange
and it charges up a capacitor that is dischaged to a pulse transformer but it seems to me there is dc flowing thru it too..
ARe you simulating this?
