Anyone know where i can sign up to get 5 cents for everytime some claims that Stan Meyers was doing something specific???
boycotting a company because of an accident seems a little rash in my opinion... you might want to look at a larger scale problem solutions to boycott a fuel company... BP was the first in Australia to have e10 & e5 available on a large scale. As e10 and e5 is a poor start it is also a start. Also all of their petrol stations (in Western Australia atleast) have large solar pannel on all their roofs and push solar power back into our grid. Again not a huge difference but still more than other companies. I also read (proberly on their website but unsure) they they are working with GM on fuel cell cars for release sooner rather than later...

But if you want to Boycott them because they have a driller and engineering stuff up on a rig thats fine, just remember that drillers and engineers tend to be in high demand so the clowns will get a job somewhere else.
ok i am going to chime in here since you all seem to be dancing along my notes. but first some facts from common science.
Dielectrical breakdown of water happens at approx 70Mv/m (thats 70 mega volts per metre) That is the voltage required for "water" to conduct. Scale this down and its about 70Kv per mm.
If you look at my project you will see that there is a phenomenon known as the avalanche effect (i'm pretty sure i put it in there :P). One of the few known processes of overunity. This has only been noticed on the nano level and is hard to consistantly replicate.
Dielectric avalanche happens at about 30% over the dielectric breakdown point of a substance. <note at this point the 100kv supply in my project>.

Other observations and readings that could be implemented sideways to help, Electric fields (these are produced by voltages, *WINK*, *WINK*) can accellerate/excite the electrons around them. Point in theory - if you could stablize an electric field at just under (or maybe over) that of the avalanche point of water this would excite/accelerate all of the loose electrons and those in the molecules them selves, to do most of the work for you.
Introducing a flood of "loose" and charged electrons (laser maybe) to the effected area would be like "multi-ball" in a pinball game.
Draw backs, your electrodes loose their charge with the transfer of energy (in other words the "loose" electrons rob you of your field very fast), every tried to generate 100kv from 12v. Its not that easy or safe.

Possible thoughts to help - PVC coating on electrodes. By increasing the gap to 150% (the voltage also) you can cover the plates in a 0.25mm thick coat of PVC which has a much higher breakdown voltage (400MV/m i do believe)

Please remember that the "conductive" voltage of water is the point when electricity will flow through the "substance" (hence why adding a nice electrolyte lowers that voltage). And breakdown voltage is the point where the non-conductive part breaks down and conducts.

This has (to me) explained a lot about the misconceptions in the way Stan Meyers describes what he is doing (please note these are my own interpretations of what has been said and i am not saying that they are right). Voltage doing the work - ie the electric fields produced by high voltages. Why it doesn't matter what sort of water you use. Why, how and process for the modifications to the alternator and the explanation with the small voltage increases to get more. etc etc

I'll leave it there before i create more of a wall, If you want me to elaborate on anything please don't fill this post unless it is relevant, just link either into my project area where i am happy to answer question or start a new thread :)
Thinking about this more last night on how it could be used as a gear box... If you move away from "their" explanation of rotating the secondary to slow the output and this is how i envisioned it.

Primary input connect to 2x outputs in parallel. You then need the 2x outputs to be connected to a singular out put. This way the gearbox uses the principals of gearing to use either gear at a specific point. Not removing the need for a clutch(to an extent) or accelerator. I am seeing this as the outter "gear" as your sort of "1st" gear and the inner as your "top" this way as there is more torque required to move the "top" gear then the first at takeoff its like having one of the cogs stationary, as the car gains momentum it will become gradually easier to turn the "top" gear. This would require some sort of gradual resistance on the "1st"
gear to hold it steady to force the input to the "top" gear cog. As with no resistance on the "1st" gear it will simply rev out and there will be no force applied to the "top" gearing. Perhaps a conjunction of multiples of these may replace the whole Clutch and Gearbox setup but i can't see any efficiency gains, just a smoother ride.

just some things i think we can banter over here...

As the adjustments to the output seem to be from diverting power to the secondary the least efficient part of the point of gear boxes (moving the vehicle from stationary) would need to be able to be done in the same gear as top speed. This would be like trying to negotiate traffic having only 3rd gear and an endless clutch. I think that this maybe able to replace the clutch and possibly incorporate the alternator into it rather than have a constant on the engine (Bring on the chain timing belts!!!)  but not the gearbox itself.
you say "Perfect mix" now it is perfect to make water (assuming no other gases are generated) But is that the best mix for power output???

The injection of water mist is a double edged sword. While it will quench hot spots on entry into the engine if an engine is left unsed oxidisation will happen ( this is reduced by the introduction of petrol and oils, maybe an oil additive sprayed with the water mist maybe more benificial)

Apolgies to anyone offended by this statement i believe that religion is an import part of our society (regardless of what your religion is) but religion and science don't mix as religions rely on faith and belief and science relies on understanding and knowledge. I will not reply to this message or any others following it.
If he was using that statement as a metaphor then he is treading a very fine line as words can be misunderstood or misinterpreted...
I believe Stanley meyer told us about the speed of the explosion of the gas also in relation to his quenching circuit. I believe you must have the tubes thin enough to pass the gas from a gas source of a determined pressure at a speed higher than that of the burning speed of the oxygen and hydrogen. This way the flame can't come back. And the fuel with its oxidizer can travel safely. You just have to know the amount of the gas to pass thru it, it's  density, the holes sizes and the pressure differential. I didn't found the calculation yet but is all about this. Even a 10-mm long Quenching circuit is enough to prevent the cell from explode if you determine your electronics to work in a manner as to maintain the pressure constant you can be 100% safe.
Cell ---> Pressure regulator ----> thick tube-----> exchange(bubbler/arrestor) ---->Multiple thin tubes at higher pressure.
Same gas flow and easier to do.

Just something to tickle your tastebuds about alternators,
The amount of power generated by an alternator can be throttled. By power i mean flowing amps. but the voltage will remain the same reguardless of amps produced. This is to ensure that the voltage level in the cars circuits doesn't bounce up and down everytime your battery needs a recharge... So technically if you only wanted voltage you could rewire an alternator to output your desired voltage and then "short it out" so there would be almost 0 amp flow but the voltage potential would stay the same. Also a lot of the power consumed by your alternator is to generat the amps. Voltage potential does increase the load but amps are the main weight.

You will need to use frequencies in multiples of your flat output.
Example,
If you put a flat 12v through your rotor and you get 1250Hz, then you should hit your rotor with say 5000Hz (AC) this, when rectified will give you the wave form you are looking for.
Also if your motor starts to slow down this is because you are pushing out amps, if your doing this then your moving away from the method described. Alternatively you can send a FM tranmission through an AM transmitter, or visa-versa. This will give you greater control over your output frequencies and the amount of amps you want to use.
I suggest you look at 200-2khz for you primary then 20-200hz for your secondary (numbers based of the AP patent 4394230)

The VIC is a tuned tank circuit. The posibility of using the same core for a multiple stage step up transformer (thing of it kind of like a marx generator charge in parrelle discharge in series) This is part that intregues me. A tank circuit when tuned to circuit resonance can push the voltage to a mathmatical infinite. This means it will push it up to the point of dielectrical breakdown. Now his statements about the VIC slowly fall into place for everyone. There were a few that i didn't understand till rescently.
1. he talks about the two "inductors" increasing in base voltage by adding more turns, now with an inductor more turn means more henries not more voltage, on a step up transformer more turns means more voltage.
2. His frequency doubling effect only happens if all the coils share the same core and the right frequency is used. This is because you will get the pulse from the "inductors" and then the pulse from the secondary all of which having the voltage doubling effect that inductors have.
3. His use of the 1kv diode. This wouldn't do much to the extent he is talking about except for the protection of the "inductors"
 
There is one point i think should be though out before mimicing his idea. BEMF. There will be a fair whack on it, most absorbed in the inductors and secondary but somethign to think about.

If your electrodes have a natural voltage difference your stagnant unused cell will slowly produce gas. also all metals used in batteries corrode, SS304 is not chemically reactive with hydrogen, oxygen or water and any deposits are not from the electrodes but from the impurities in the water. So the problems overcome by your theory to use already aligned materials as electrodes has issues that are overcome with SS.
1. your electrodes will corrode rapidly - yet another thing that will need replacing.
2. your electrodes can start production autonomusly.
3. your process is not reversable (lead and leadoxide electrodes would not be counted here)
4. to regain your origninal materials would cost more energy than what you make. (unless you invent a really effficient way to reverse the oxidization process too)
5. Some of your proposed materials are autoreactive in water.
 
If the blend of SS304 stan used had high percentages of Zinc then it might be helpful but i would think that this would corrode over time, and not the time frame Stan talks off.
 
 

Embrittlement and wfc design

hydrogen embrittlement  happens to to the "high-strength" or tough metals, due to the cooling and heating of an engine they tend to be made out of "low-strength" alloys, more designed to be readily available, now it your running titanium heads or valves you may have an issue... Generally the alloys used in your engine are resilient to embrittlement, it is one of the factors considered in the selection process when they choose the materials to use.
on a side note there is a % of hydrogen that is released from fumes (ethanol especially) that goes into your engine anyway, this cannot be helped.
If you do happen to run into this issue you would only need a rebuild and not a new engine, you would be talking piston heads, sleeves, rings and possibly valves.
your real problem will be in your spark plugs life span, as some of them use high percentage of nickel in their construction, and nickel is vulnerable to enbrittlement.
