This is the Bob Boyce system, starting with, I believe, the 42.8khz as used by
John Worrell Keely, and employing also one octave down, 21.4 and a further
octave down on that, 10.7khz.

Something new, OU generator

This is old stuff, indeed. The unipolar/homopolar generator. It would
be great to get a definitive statement on whether either the Tewari
or De Palma machines ever generated OU.

Everyone's suggestions are pretty hard work.

I favour John Worrell Keely.

He slammed water with 42.8khz (sound) and the water "dissociated".
What is interesting is that Visaton has a high frequency sound driver, an
HF horn, which has a response from 3khz - 40khz. When the driver
gets to 42.8khz, the graph will have dropped a fair amount, but
there should be sufficient power for our purposes.

Of course, the legendary Bob Boyce uses 42.8 (along with 21.4 and 10.7)
electrically in his 101 plate electrolyser.

The problem is the cold side, there must be sufficient heat there to stop it getting too cold and freezing up as that would insulate the evaporator. Also as the temperature gradient increases the COP drops.
This heat pump technology is neat, but you need that "heat sink". A runnning
river or stream is good. Or an underground tank of water which could be
heated up over the summer (with black water pipes on the roof and then used
in the winter. Some people bury tubes in the ground.

Yes. This is about John Worrell Keely and his hydro vacuo engine.
Also, the reason why a relatively small bomb (the bouncing bomb)
split the Mohne Dam in 1942. See "The Dam Busters" film.

Keely's biographer, Dale Pond, is said to have written a book on how
to replicate the hydro vacuo engine. I shall have a look for it.

But sample and hold is good. I associate it with the more expensive
digital scopes.

Oscilloscopes are items most people do not get right first time.
Get the software and a long cable with attenuation for your
sound card. And get a cheap s/h model from ebay to feel
your way in the field. (If you still know your old Physics teacher
from school, you might be able to take the gear in and test it
on the best scope that they have).
