I agree with you guys. If you see "Plans" to build something and there are no pictures of it being built as visual aids, then you KNOW it was never built and to stay far, far away lol.

All i remember seeing with that is the crappy suggestions for conventional home energy savings that they prolly stole from "Readers Digest", a very nebulous photo that could be anything, poorly-done drawings of a supposed all-magnet motor, and some poorly-described "secret sauce" critical adjustment that if is not done exactly right, the whole thing doesn't work LOL (meaning its always YOUR FAULT when you can't get it to work). And lots of vids of other people's work which have nothing at all to do with the "device".

As i've said before, this is a government or corporate-run or sanctioned scam to discredit free energy and give folks a bad taste in their mouths on the whole subject. When they cant attack the real thing (because it brings unwanted attention to things they want to remain as obscure from the public as possible), then they have to CREATE things to discredit. NO ONE spends the kind of cash these jokers have for nearly a year now for advertising, for worthless plans. It is a almost certainly a cointelpro disinfo scam.

After all, remember folks that with Open Source they are robbed of nearly all of their favorite "tricks", and they have to do something to earn their checks. Their lame-ass paid shills trying to convince us to stop on our own havn't done squat... So this probably was some wonder-boy's "brilliant" idea hehehe.

But it doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Think of it this way: Either a fraud-artist is spending HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of HIS OWN MONEY on the advertising (...for what kind of small-change returns before he is busted?), or he has Investors who are putting it up. Who the hell in their right mind would invest in this obvious scam? It uses other people's work (...illegal and very easily proved), and it is worthless to begin with.

There is something very strange about this thing being complained about by probably HUNDREDS of people for nearly a year, and it is still being advertised. LOL, if any of us tried this, we would be in friggin prison by now. That Karsten's Heron engine is nice.... Man that is some good RPM going on there, i wonder if some mags and coils at the top could generate enough current to run a small hydroxy sys... The HHO would burn very hot against the metal ball so maybe only about 150 ml/min or so of gas production would be needed to boil the water... With a small, efficient, well-tuned PWM it might be possible to produce that for around 300 mA ... Normally this kind of energy conversion should not work in a "loop" but the strange qualities of the Brown's Gas when it's flame touches metals could allow it to.

I forgot to mention, that if you set a scope to "AC Coupled" that you don't even need to hook up the ground lead to read an AC signal . So you can still read across them and just leave the ground lead open, and just not see the DC component (because when "AC Coupled" it won't read any DC.. But when set to "DC Coupled" it reads both AC and DC together).

Regarding the "40 Mhz"; that refers to the maximum Frequency you can see clearly with it without "roll off" attenuation from it's circuitry (a filter capacitor that blocks any F's higher than that from being seen).... Not the "minimum"; for that it is always all the way down to "DC" there are settings in the software that controls this device to let you choose the desired Time Base ("y-axis resolution").

I would use a separate PC "cpu box" with an old mother board for a cheapy "sound card scope"; as they have an alarming propensity for burning up, and it usually kills the entire motherboard in the process.

That "DSO-2090" appears to be fairly pretty decent USB unit (which provides some protection for the PC as the amplifier "front end" is in a separate box). The Frequency Response of "40Mhz" is not too bad for about 80% of the F-E techs i've seen so far (but more is better of course).

But please note that the "100 MHz max. sampling rate" is another figure of much importance here. It means that if you are using 2 channels at once, "50 Meg" sample rate is the fastest you can go, which may allow some very fast transients to be "Aliased" (not seen). When using only one channel at a time, you can sample at the max of "100 Meg". You need 10 samples per waveform to get any sort of accuracy when looking at signals that are not repeatable or simple Sine or Square waves... So you can say that the actual USABLE Frequency Response of that scope is: "10 MHz" for ONE CHANNEL, and "5 MHz" for TWO CHANNELS (that is assuming 10 samples per waveform to eliminate "Digital Signal Aliasing").

Another important spec is the DC Max Protected Voltage: Which is "35 Volts" (...kinda low and disappointing).

Now this can be "350 Volts" if you use a "X10 Probe" instead of the standard probe they provide (...you can buy them at the Shack)... But you must then remember that the readings on the scope are 10 times lower than stated. That "350 V DC" would be enough to look at Peak to Peak of 120VRMS wall power, but not much more. If you put a "19 Megohm" resister in line with the standard scope probe, that would then give you around "700 Volts DC" max (... In that case, the 19 megohms plus the 1 meg Ohms inherent to the device, gives a total input impedance of "20 Meg".. Then the voltage seen on the screen would have to be multiplied by "20").

This is because the standard unit has 1 Megohm of Input Impedance inside of it, and the standard "x1" Probe has no additional resistance inside of it. An optional "x10 Probe" would have a 9 Meg resistor inside to bring that total R to 10 Megohms. Many of these Probes have a switch for "x1" or "x10", which is useful but dangerous if you forget to move the switch.

One last "Spec of Interest": This thing has "8 Bit Resolution" which means there are 256 steps in the voltage reading ("x" axis). At 5 Volts full scale, that is an error of "19 mV's: (one Bit of resolution; one digital "step"). "10 Bits" is common these days and provides more accuracy, however again (... just like "Maximum Allowed Voltage", and "Maximum Sample Rate"), it raises cost.

This is a "Single Ended to Ground" device (not truly Isolated), so you must be careful where you put the "Signal Low" ground lead of the probe: It cannot be connected to a point "off ground" or bad things can happen (check the spot you wish to put the probe's ground lead with a multi-meter first, reading V between it and actual Ground). Most scopes are "Single-Ended"; the exceptions being the battery powered portable "scopemeters" like the "Fluke 199" we've been talking about (they are usually much more expensive, however). You can do without Isolation for most applications, but reading directly across Coils (which generally float off-ground) is usually a big "no-no"... They don't replace smoked input circuitry under Warranty

Ethanol suxx; but it can make an important point for gasoline too.

He is reported to be using "85% ethanol" for fuel. But apparently the high mileage figures are for a total use of all blended fuel; and not just representing the "15% gasoline" figure masquerading as the actual total... As was erroneously claimed by someone on the "Hydroxy" Yahoo group a few days ago.

Ethanol is no ultimate answer to our fuel problems... When the actual cost of farming and processing corn is considered; it now takes more energy to create ethanol than it provides (... Plus huge amounts of fresh water that could better be used elsewhere). Bio-fuel from blue-green algae is much more fresh water and energy-efficient to produce and does not take "food" away from the market or dramatically raise the price of anything that has corn byproducts in it; as ethanol would if it became more widespread in use here. But unless a GEET-like reactor system is used to "crack" it first, bio-diesel can't be efficiently burned in an ICE ; although it can be used in Diesel or turbine/jet engines.

However, it is interesting and good news that a high-MPG engine is finally apparently going to be mass-produced even if it IS using Ethanol: Because whatever principals to get this "4 times better" efficiency from an ICE are being used here (probably mostly related to "pre-vaporization" of the fuel and very high AFR), could almost certainly also be applied to burning all-gasoline blends... If the oil corporations ever decided to take the special additives that prevent the effective use of vaporization out of their retail gasoline blends, anyway

So if this idea and business plan is successful; it could eventually lead the way to ending the 80-year "ban" on vaporization of gasoline and using very high Air-Fuel Ratios... Through raising general public awareness of their benefits and causing the public to start asking:

"Why are these basic principals not also being used with standard engines/fuels?"

...And leading to my favorite question of all, lol:

" Why have these people forced us to use as much petroleum fuels as humanly possible all these years ?! "

The interesting part about that imo... If true... Is that it would be an extremely cheap method of collecting Heavy Water for use with LENR

evidence of negative bias in the press?

Every time i see a photo of Gates in the press, it is an unflattering pose or expression. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is probably the largest ever of it's kind, and does much good work: But rarely gets any positive press. These, including that article on his energy use, are signs of negative bias by the press (whether this is because of a specific reason, or it's because the press knows people hate him and does it for maximum exposure is yet unknown).

And in America's corporate owned mainstream media.. A good sign of who is "in" the status quo, and who is outside of it, is who gets the positive-spun press and who doesn't. LOL does anyone here believe that G.E.'s, G.M.'s, or Exxon Mobile's top executives (or the international bankers behind them) have "green" carbon footprints?

Now MS does has an interest in the cable news channel "MSNBC", partnering with General Electric who outright-owns the NBC network. But what most don't know is that MS has no editorial input or clout at all there, while G.E. does, and often uses this clout to get certain stories suppressed or "spun". MSNBC has so far made no mention of this device/patent application either; and have never said anything flattering about Gates that i've been able to find. And i've been watching the the U.S. MSM for years (... For evidence to get their owners put behind bars someday hehehe).

Yes, i've been cursing Gate's name too since 1983 for his damned "blue screen wallpaper" .... And for charging us over $100 for a new OS that is basically Class A bug fixes on the last one He is the person we all love to hate lol.

I would not be so sure about that. I've spend much time this weekend researching this and it is quite strange, for several reasons. An interesting pattern is emerging here, imo... That could possibly be good news.

To discredit anyone who fell for it, to help dis the subject of Meyer and hydroxy / F-E, put a "chill" on the subject to scare peeps, and to help generally with continued suppression. As paranoid as it may sound, this is not beyond the realm of possibility: Government-sanctioned Intel services have been long suspected of running similar disinfo scams in the political blogging world and the media, and there is some evidence for it there and whistle-blowers have come forward in the past (but no evidence here in this case of course, just speculation).

2. Energy Cartels .... For the same reasons as above, but with no legal leg to stand on if ever caught... "Patriot Act" doesn't go THAT far yet, lol. And make no mistake: If a corporate entity was found to be doing this, those behind it and their minions who perpetrated it could go to jail... And even worse to them lol, the stock prices of the companies involved could head down the toilet

3. Auto makers/ auto industry .. Again, similar reasons; but their main goal would be to keep the current status quo going in the manufacturing market as long as possible, just to hold on to their current market positions.

4. Some "copper-topped" individual person who hates F-E, is very good with "Photoshop", knows professional-quality disinfo techniques, and was highly frustrated from losing debates when they try to argue against it in forums lol (hey, anything's possible).

5. Some kid out for a laugh... This one would seem unlikely (since most hoaxers are too lazy to go to this much trouble, and to maintain such a site for at least 2 years and writing so many bogus articles there would seem excessive just as a gag).

6. Someone trying to somehow discredit Oliver Stone or Tim Robbins? .. These guys certainly have enough enemies in the political world, so who knows, although it was more likely just an "added bonus" to use them, lol.

7. Another perpetrator / reason not yet mentioned... ?

The thing about these techniques is (assuming it was #1, #2, or #3 behind it); they really can't hide that they did them... And the fact that they did do them at all, helps to show that the things they are attacking are "valid" and a "danger" to their cause...Otherwise why take the risk of exposure?

In this respect, it is much like the U.S. corporate-owned mainstream media: They can refuse to report on certain stories (such as "Sibel Edmonds".. Google her if you don't know that one yet... This site below is perpetrating a hoax, by showing a fake movie poster claiming to be an Oliver Stone movie based on the life of Stanley Meyer.

This site has no provenance at all, and the article is without any author name. It is apparently a blog-creation site anyone can sign up for and setup to look like a real site. I couldn't find any other web locations for that movie poster. But apparently if it can be believed at all, that blog site has been there since 2006 ... Several of the other articles i saw there (always without authors), are questionable in nature and accuracy: They could be subtle attempts at dis'ing the subjects they supposedly are "for".

At the bottom, the article asks a "Poll" question, if people who own SUV's, including tradesmen who need them to carry their tools in, should pay higher taxes, then says: "Hell Yes!"... Which of course would instantly anger many (such a tax would never be touted by environmental proponents with half a brain lol); serving to turn peeps off to the concepts talked about there by use of political division and lies. And using the very Liberal Oliver Stone and Tim Robbins in the movie poster was also clever; as they engender much controversy on their own (thus linking the subject of F-E to "liberal" political causes, which is clearly false).

Even the linked article there by the "Columbus Dispatch", although it appears authentic, is a clever use of more disinfo, as several of the things stated in that news article have some mild negative spin (...the link was supposedly to support the validity of the poster, but is just a news report on Meyer from last year and has nothing about the supposed "movie".)

Out of all the drawings they could have posted there of Meyer's Patent illustrations, the one that was shown was an interesting choice as well; the most obscure and useless one of the lot .

I searched & found an Oliver Stone fan site and posted the link there so his people could do something legally to get it off.

This appears to be a fairly sophisticated attempt at disinformation. The question would be, who did it, and why?

Nice find. Interesting in that article, though, that they STILL had to say "Other scientists could not replicate their find" when referring to Pons and Fleischman. This is not true. Only in the US was it not replicated.. In other countries, it was replicated as early as January, 1990... And over 120 times since!

So now they are acting like they re-discovered it all on their own LOL.

I wonder if this is really "CYA" in response to other recent LENR advances:

"Superwave" is a very interesting offshoot. The company "Energetics Technologies" in Israel led by the inventor Dr. Irving Dardik claims "COP>25" (which appears to be the best BTU heat output per amp input from any LENR system yet).



The Superwave concept is very interesting: Instead of the usual DC current for electrolysis, there is an AC carrier sine wave (but which i suspect is really biased off-ground), and the waveform riding on this carrier is sync'ed to increase/decrease BOTH the amplitude and the Frequency sweep simultaneously, locking these sweeps to the carrier's phase.. So as the carrier rises to Peak, so does the main waveform's max voltage, and max Frequency. They claim this gives it some some very interesting Quantum effects.

There is also a mention of using ultrasound in the mix somehow, which is not explained.

The water they use is "heavy" (enriched with extra Deuterium) and has Lithium salts in it (very nasty stuff, Lithium). Lol, i bet they don't count the energy needed to collect the heavy water in their COP estimate, though

Regarding the general farm location, i suspect it's better to not let that out publicly at present.

Anyone who takes this challenge is due their anonymity. Just letting us share in the info itself should be enough. It's not just about "suppression" but also being "bugged" by tire-kicking peeps, even with "good intentions", or those trying to profit somehow. People deserve their privacy; and insuring the farmer is left alone if he wants to be will be an important facet for others who are considering doing the same in the future.

Cool, i like "thought experiments" (much cheaper with & less swear words than the other kind )

Well, this one could be contested if it is real "work" or not, but the diff in energy out vs. energy in would argue for a "yes" (and although i have seen these discussions about V doing work before, this is the first time i've seen this below particular argument used lol):

The voltage in a capacitor of a DC power supply circuit does work without significantly higher current flow: We see this in properly-built DC power supplies when electrolytic caps are used as filters to "de-ripple". Without the cap in the circuit, the Real Power figure of the pulsed, "rippled" output would be much lower; and the differential of "power out" vs "power in" with and without these mundane filter caps involved shows that having them in the circuit adds "energy efficiency"; which could be considered "work"... As more work per Watt of input can be performed with the cap in the circuit, than with it out.

Disclaimer But note this tends to break down in circuits that are too heavily loaded; for the efficiency to be true the current load must be "light" or "medium" in regards to the upper power output limit capabilities of the circuit (and rating of the cap). And of course the Frequency of the raw pulses must match the correct "RC" of the circuit to get the best filtering results.

Some may argue that the work is because the energy is "stored": But this is not the case, the t of the cap will cause it to load up for a while when turned on, and then bleed off power for a few hundred milliseconds when the device is switched off; but in the above case the efficiency under operation could last years if under constant use.

When you think about it there are other examples of higher energy efficiency when caps are used verses without them; like AC Resonance, and "Power Factor Correction" with devices such as AC inductive motors. Since most would agree that caps use voltage / potential as their "modus operandi".... Is that voltage doing work?

The Day Has Arrived

I think that whatever Greer is missing or under- or over-stating in his letter (...depending on our individual viewpoints), that the effort is very worthy and should be emulated.

Let's be very clear about something: THERE IS enough data to merit much more major university research into these technologies... THIS IS ALL WE ARE ASKING!! At the very least; they would then be debunked and we can move on to other technologies.

But imo the reason they are not being studied... Is because they CANNOT be debunked. If they could, the oil companies themselves would have spent the cash for the studies; just to stop the urban legends and rumors.

Just because you havn't heard about something in the corporate-owned mainstream media, does not mean it doesn't exist, lol.... If you don't believe me, google "Sibel Edmonds" and see just one of hundreds of subjects that are completely ignored by the US MSM. Take the "red pill"....

The reason we yet do not have many good working replications is because of greed. Whenever these inventors have a Eureka moment, the first thing they do is make the same old mistakes: Over-sell to investors, keep everything secret, go for patents..... Do all the things that make it easy to stop.

We've got to change the paradigm: To Open Source, and break into the mainstream with open knowledge that can be easily transmitted... Until the number of people aware of these technologies reaches the Tipping Point: When it can no longer be ignored or suppressed.

This is our challenge. We can disagree on which technologies will work out best in the long run, we can disagree on the theory behind them. But we need to get down to business and MAKE MAIN-STREAM FREE ENERGY RESEARCH HAPPEN.

I myself am writing the Obama administration (hardcopy "snail-mail" is always best, btw), and would urge all of us here who believe in the viability of these technologies to do the same. We CAN make a differance... Because the writing is on the wall: Pandora's box is open, and these things are going to come out some day. We need to show them that the day has arrived.

I think that if electrons didn't exist, you would have to to think up a whole nuther explanation for... Chemistry Specifically valence rings.
