question on electrical

   Is there a adjustable dc voltage regulator (say between 12v to ?), variable dc amp (say between 1 - 30 amps) regulator in one unit? If not can you get seperate units and tie them together in the same circut? Is there a dc variable voltage amplifier? And could you tie it in to the same circut also?
