    Hello all,

I am back, been away for a while studying EE and math and building up a Lab...

So where are you all in your research? Have there been any breakthroughs? If someone could itemize the big news that has happened I would be grateful. Nice too see some names I still recognize here ;).

    Regards, Pulsed.

Tony is doing a great job with his simplified explanations and circuits... alot of good guys here still and of course alot of newguys.Ive only heard of one guy being able to actually get the water to" take on a charge "and shock the devil outta him :)
Steve got a great Christmas present he is currently preparing to share with the rest of us :0)
One things for sure is alot more people have alot more information now than we did 6 years ago.
The big picture still remains the same... those with the tools and money to work with close to spec materials are doing so as some of us not so fortunate are still hanging on doing what we can with what we have so all is good !

    Pulsed,
I am new here, and glad to see people checking back in.  I have a CompSci degree from the 90's and a lot of this EE stuff is awkward for me.  Although I looked into this 10yrs ago and thought "when I have time"...  I finally made time.  And things have come a long way, but at the same time, it appears we are not reproducing Meyers basic work [Do we even have a definition of "success"?]

I just made a rather large investment (function generator, scope, 9XA board from Tony.  My own mosfet based signal amplifier.  Plus all of the little stuff) not to mention the time reading through as much as possible.  The time spent has been amazing.  It has become a bit of an obsession during my slow season at work (which is now changing a bit).

But I am surprised at the lack of leadership and organization (not of the board, of the goal).  It is worse than a herd of cats.  Everyone off in their own direction.  I am not much better, because I have had SO MUCH to learn, and so little to offer.  Although I am starting to feel like my project management skills are needed  ;).

As I go through this, and I understand, some people of trying to bulld the LED laser version, others the simpler version (myself included, walk before you run).  If you can't get the 4 variable unit working:
    - Inductor
    - Capacitor
    - Voltage
    - Frequency

How are you going to get the laser working which assumes all of that is already working?

For example, I need a VIC coil...  I found some free software to analyze transformers (a wee bit complicated for me right now), but it would be nice, like the simulator.  Unfortunately, I have asked around, and I cannot find a source.  Apparently an old source dried up. (If anyone knows, or has one, let me know).  Right now, I am analyzing using cheap/available 10:1 (2 of them, and trying to get an inverted phase output to match the  bipolor pulses, using the center taps. 2 5:1 becomes 25:1 and testing this).  But I would rather buy a working coil for testing.

So, there is some activity still.  A lot of information (some good, some... not so much).  Some really great people here who are trying.  Some annoying ones like myself <grin>....

      And we are missing:
    - A State of the Union Address
    - A List of best practices (and worse/avoidable practices) [Broken down by component]
    - A standard set of goals/measurements (G/KWH...  Gallons per KW Hour.  I believe the faraday number is 16.5KWH per gallon of water you completely disassociate), with an agreed up minimum of 1-4oz, but stating how many Oz, because it matters.  Water temp before and after.  Tank Capacity.  Maybe using Litres instead of Gallons.  Don't care, but standardize.)

I believe we are all working too independently, and failing to diversify properly.  I love that Tony provides the 8XA/9XA boards.  This is a great start.  Anyone want to take up the VIC building/selling.  Nobody is asking that you do it for free.  Happy to buy a VIC transformer.

Hello to everyone...  Here is to 2013 being the year we get this stuff down to basic science.  Someone walking in can put 5-10 pieces of equipment together and start testing...  And Various results can be verified, and compared in a standard way...  [Any scientific endeavor must strive to reproduce the results independently, only then are the components well understood.]

    Thanks,

    Kirk Out!
