    this needs to be looked at and understood i beleive theres more here to be learnt.
    I have rep. this with a single diode led white and it works.YouTube - free energy LED
    dr stifflers sec will be of great importance to helping this effect
    the future will be bright!

    As far as using LEDs goes, this guy seems to think green LEDs are better
    for some reason than other colors.

    Would not it be a rule that the more power hungry the LED is to light up,
    the more power it would generate?

    This could be neat stuff. How long will a LED last in UV light?
    Will the plastic turn brittle or turn yellow?
    Would a glass or ceramic diode last longer than a plastic encased LED?

    The sun is down right now, so I tried a 1N4007 1A 1000V Rectifier Diode up against a CFL.
    The diode had wires solder to both ends so I could expose only one side of
    the diode at a time to the light.

    Putting the cathode end wire against the CFL read 1.5 volts.
    Putting the anode end wire against the CFL read 0.45 volts.
    Put some foil on the anode end with the diode in the shade and
    obtained about the same reading of 1/2 a volt.

    Seems the diode itself needs not be exposed to the light, just the wires.

    Does this scale up?!

    also i cant charge a 2mf cap up to 2 volts from a light bulb with a magnifer on the white light led

    Is it a dream?

    I used 4 RM2C diodes in series pulled off an old TV board,
    bare wire wrapped around
    the positive probe of the meter to the diodes and stuck the probe
    into the middle, into the inside of a CFL. 2 volts.
    Let go, do not touch the probes: 3.3 volts
    To not touch the ground wire either.
    Depending upon which one you touch it falsifies/effects your voltage readings.
    Connect an earth ground and it jumps to 6.2 volts

    Then I thought it was not good for my probe to be inside
    that hot bulb, so I wrapped the bare wire around the CLF
    and it started out at 6.2 and fell to 4 volts .. I don't know

    Then I got to thinking .. that just isn't right. I must not
    have observed it correctly. So I grab the positive probe and jammed
    it inside the light bulb and let go (don't touch!)
    Reading 9.9 volts.

    Is this sounding crazy enough for you yet?

    I ran out of same kind of diodes .. I'll look around for more.

    I don't expect to get these kind of voltages from sunlight??
    But but .. it would be nice......

    I think you will get better voltage in sunlight with a magnifier. i try the transistor style cuuting the bcak off a 2n3055 but i only get .5
    not try grounding yet but its a good idea!

    Hey, you did understand that I get voltage without the diode
    being exposed to the light, only the wire connected to the diode is
    exposed... Right?!
    Would it not follow that surface area being exposed to the light
    is a factor then, also?

    I tried a piss-ant JT coil I have and i don't know what i'm doing
    or the current is zip/nil. It didn't seem to do anything to the
    voltage.

    Yes look forward to the call.. give me a heads up so i can
    schedule bed time .. i do not do a schedule and am up over
    24 hours a lot.

    hehe i standunder that randy. we need to work out what the diode REALLY is then.
    heat cold diode? light to dark?

    the current is nil but serial change a cap to dump to battery.
    i will order 100x1n5062
    1n5062 are audio diodes i think

    A thought. Does a higher voltage diode make a difference?
    Does the surface area that the light falls upon make a bigger
    difference than the diode itself?
    The diodes you are getting are more expensive and are an avalanche diode.
    Is an Avalanche or a non-Avalanche a better diode for the experiments?
    The first diode I tried tried, 1N4007 1A 1000V Rectifier Diode, created
    1.5 volt and is very cheap compared to the 1n5062????
