SSG Modification anomaly

#13 ·

Thanks lamare, thats very helpfull. So much to learn.

lamare said,
So, with a normal capacitor, you have metal plates acting as the capacitor plates, while with an electrolytic capacitor, one of the plates consists of ions in a fluid.
Ummmm, since its electrolytic, which plate is which ? I'll have a guess ! Is the fluid the positive ?

Rgds

Ok so the " how to make a diode" link explains it all beutifully, thanks again.

And therefore it seems likely that old school electrolytic capacitors, basically aluminum plates in an electrolyte solution, offer the best results.

For more on how to make old school electrolytic capacitors as well as rectifiers, see: How to make a diode?
Well lamare, I believe your explaination does make sense to me. We need some folks to spend some experiment time refining the easiest and most effective ways to make and rate these "old school" electolytic capacitors.

Wouldn't they just be layden jars, or are they different ?

The evidence does seem to be there that this is important. It is already known that layden jars are a very important part of the conversion of for want of a better word "static" or purely potential energy to usable electricity.
They are used in the testatika machine, apparently with success.

Very interesting stuff.

Excelent work Zooty that is very interesting, the spike hitting the coil causing the neon to flash, solved with another recovery diode, awesome experiment. Please do keep up the experiments, and keep us informed.

Every bit of insight is helpfull to someone.

Cheers

There is no free energy availiable in this world. The whole deal of electrolysis is total bull$hit. There is no free energy in that, but using small amounts of energy to break down the atomic structure of water and use the hydrogen and oxygern in a better way, combustion. When it burns, heat is produced. This is simple energy conversion. All of those people who have said that there is free energy, they are two 2 year olds.
wetissues, please define the meaning of the word free !

At least give us your definition, if you don't mind that is.

I suppose next you will say there is no such thing as free sunshine. And that sunshine is not energy.

If you would like an argument about this, I will oblige you. After all I have lots of free time.

In my opinion that looks like a very simplified version of the whimshurst machine, looks to me like it will work, I have no idea how one would work out the relative output.

Good work, Great video too.

Oh yeah and welcom to the forum.

Nibiru

In my opinion it is not certain that even if nibiru is real that the event of it's passing would kill us all, the elites will build trillions of dollars worth of deep underground bunkers just in case, besides if there is no complete wipe out but the infrastructure goes down nobody would be safe just living above ground.

With the population densities in the urban area's and with no power, no food in the supermarket or water in the tap (faucet) many people would revert back to a very animalistic predatory existance. ( my spelling is atrocious ) So I would not want to be the only one in town with a light on at night. The lowlife's would come like moths to a candle.

Having said that earth batteries, joule thief, the simple bedini solid state, wind generators, micro hydro electric, radiant energy receiver, would be what I would try, i'm on a few acre's so I would probably just light a fire most of the time, winter especially, oh and keep the rifle handy too.

In my opinion people should be more concerned of their safety than having a light or power, if society were to collapse and there is no effective law enforcement, I would treat everyone I don't know as a threat to my and my families lives, until I knew better. Lets hope it doesn't happen.

Bedini advice pls

#5 ·

Congratulations on taking the radiant road, i'm fairly new to Bedini devices myself and fairly short on money as well so I try to salvage all I can, like the others say. I have converted a couple of fans, made a very small three pole and now a bike wheel SSG. I'm just learning from what I read and and all the devices work pretty good.

As with the magnets I have read the best spacing is three to five magnet withs apart. From my tinkering I think this is true, if I put them too close no go. My bike wheel SSG is a 27 inch wheel and only has 10 magnets 40mm x 25mm x 10 mm thick. that gives me a space of 175mm or so between magnets (7 magnet widths apart) which is too far but it still works, I have ten more coming so with 20 it will be 75mm gap three magnet widths, is what I will try and go from there. The magnets should be wide enough to completely sweep the coil core as well.

It's hard to say what is best as each custom built machine will have it's own personality so to speak.

I found some good stuff in this PDF -http://freenrg.info/Bedini/SSG_STARTERS_GUIDE-Two.pdf
