Thank you very much I realized that Microchip has the same mosfet driver I'm looking for TC4452 model.


BTW. Do you know maybe how to differentiate between normal and low ESR version of ceramic capacitors ? Very good quality ceramic low ESR capacitor + MKP type polypropylene (high current impulse) decoupling is essential for mosfet drivers.

Hello

I'd like to ask everybody who can help : is that still possible to get small quantities (like 1-2 item) of electronic samples from electronic corporations ?

(Funny thing that I had no necessity to ask them for samples when I managed my small firm because I had no free time to think about it , but now my business is gone and I found that with my commercial email address I also lost such possibility )

I tried to contact Micrel for mosfet driver sample but they even do not have my country on their list. Looks like I'm living in place more forgotten then Antiqua and Barbuda...

30uF @ 550v is 4.54 Joules, you could probably scale that up a bit


However, if your inductor is lacking impedance, your switch might be seeing 550 Amps at t=0 and ~10 Amps at t=120uS... Yeah.. most silicon switches affordable to hobbyists aren't well suited to capacitor discharge.. mmmmmm... Thyratrons .... :drool:

Thank you.Yes this is what I'm afraid of. My coil inductance is low ,don't know how to avoid the initial current surge especially if switching frequency will be low ,probably in Hz range because I have also 11H choke coil which will recharge capacitor every cycle. I have no big hopes but I would be happy if I could make it working ....

Btw I need also oscillator schematic with interrupting.
Like the one I have built in the past with two NE555 chips when one is for example 30-50Kh carrier and second is switching /resseting the first one output with lower frequency (kind of circuit used in old times in Lawton HHO device). However while carrier wave can have variable duty cycle I need the interrupting signal perfectly 50% duty cycle so frequency would be stable.
I need it to drive flyback on ferrite core so carrier would be synchronized to resonant frequency of core ,while interrupting signal would turn flyback output on/off.
I only need some schematic or link which chip I can use to make it simple (KISS method ).
Question arise : how can I check if mosfet is fully switching on/off in this schematic ? I have no experience in checking this, previously I have just built circuits from schematics but now I have old analog scope so maybe I can use it...

I would make R1 and R2 about 1K to start with to limit the current and see how everything switches. If you do not get full on and off like you want you can try lowering R1 a little and then R2 if you need to. I would not go lower than about 100 ohms on each of them because you could burn out the opto coupler or the mosfet driver.

Especially I don't know if 500V GND should/could be connected with mosfet driver ? How to pass signals sent to optocoupler to the mosfet driver side ? I just connected phototransistor inside optocoupler via resistor to +Vdd (12V) Is that correct way ?

Is there any electronic expert here ? I have composed schematic with optocoupler and mosfet driver and I very appreciate if somebody corrected it and posted if that makes any sense ?
I try to completly isolate oscillator section from mosfet because I want to dump large capacitor 8-30uF via 2-4 mosfets in parallel at 440V to low inductance primary and that would be quite dangerous
Attached is simplified schematic when oscillator is just replaced by a switch.

This is good, but somebody thought about it previously. For example Tom Bearden but I guess he was not the first and only one. simply ; while there is law of conservation of energy there is no law of conservation of work!
With highly nonlinear dependence of force on time we could amplify work done using the same energy amount.Period. This is the base for parametric amplification and the simplest example is "snow ball effect" when snowball rolling from the top of hill is rising mass expotentially and thus the final energy of impact is tremendous. First described by Nikola Tesla in his autobiography published in 1916.

Every fuel , including HHO is the road to hell. If you need to refill tank or battery you are victim of possible TAX PAYOFF and you don't see it as a SIN done to nature, but rather something natural.
People start screaming only if the stupidity of tax reach their brain cells, which is very hard to do. I think they can even accept tax put on water as a fuel.
That is why there is more opposition to Joe cell running engine which takes ions from air then to HHO (made commercially in small scale in Japan for example).
Simply - you cannot (yet) tax air.

Could a very thin PVC Fluid Hose filled with salt water serve as a conductor with slow relaxation time?

I mean, 100 ft of 1 mm PVC FLUID HOSE filled with salt water. winded like a coil. and then we pulse that water coil in bedini fashion.

I am too crazy? or it is a good idea?

Thanks for link.What transistor did you use ? Is that 50uF cap electrolytic one ?I hardly can find any other with so much uF except big one for motors.
Did yoy replaced HHO cell with speaker of placed a capacitor instead of HHO cell and then speaker parallel to this cap ?

This is the ultimate water purification process simplified :
convert water into gas then gas into water
all other substances remain in container with no exception
then add required mineral salts and this is pure water for drinking
in process water can be charged with magnetic field energy also and get healing capabilities.

Of course I'm not talking about generating Brown gas from water.
I think about another solution, this one seems risky and may be not possible but
looks like the best solution for this situation.
The normal way of utilization of danger substance if not possible other way is to make less dangerous salt which is either less poisoning of not dissolve in water.
Scientist now has to work hard to find a proper chain of reaction to convert dangerous radioacive substance to fast decayin one and which ends with a stable and heavy element. Then cover reactor inside with such substance and it will be like living shell converting into many substages and finally into stable elements. Just a concrete with a lot of absorbing factor will do the job IF scientists can find the fast decay chain and stop any possible chain reactions.

Just an idea from worried person
