hi guys

I was just wondering if any of you guys that are into hydrogen energy have ever tried making the gas by adding sodium silicide to water?

an old friend of my father who is an retired exxon mobil physicist (the visitor not my father!) was visiting whilst he is holidaying here in the UK after emigrating to Canada some years ago, so anyway they came over to visit me in my home yesterday and the guy was looking at my various cells that i have setup in my spare room, he was really pleased to see what i was doing but on his way out he turned to me and said "you don't have to expend all that energy to make hydrogen, Research sodium silicide!" and with a wink of the eye and a huge pat on the back he left!

so i have started doing just that! it seems to be in use already! so have any of you used this stuff and was it worthwhile to do so?

Sounds magnificent can i ask? what does this engine run on? if still carbon based fuel's of now, how will it help in the future when we have none or none for use by the general populous?

Or could this be run on water if the holy grail of water splitting is achieved in enough proportions to run an automobile forsay?

I have a spare Microwave in a cupboard it's brand new! I will have a look into it tomorrow! i don't mind spending time harvesting parts, i enjoy it one thing i will definitely do is start getting a knowledge of the parts like theremart is saying.

i had fun today taking apart an old camera flash system and playing with it, i found that connecting up a small motor and an led to give it a load and it gives 110vdc reading and a 215vac reading from the wires that went into its cap, (which i removed) I don't have a clue what i was doing but it was interesting fun!

can you use that type of circuit to drive anything?

one more question then bed inside that flash there's the flash tube a couple of lamps and a thing that looks like a lamp but it has a third wire leading from a little plate embedded in the side of its clear casing!

what is that component called?

Hi guys I have a little question regarding producing the motor for the Bedini Device i am going to do, Now bear in mind this fact! i am useless at maths to the point i don't really understand equations and algebra simple arithmetic was about my limit.

but what i was wondering is, is there a particular ratio/amount of magnets to use and spacing to set them to, in relation to the size/circumference of the rotor that i should adhere to?

the reason i ask is i want to try to get as successful a build as i can, without much waste! I am unemployed (Lost my job in Mobile coms the start of the slump) and cant afford to mess it up and have to buy new bits! ( no lie - i already did without food for 3 days so i could buy Neo's)

I am fine with the circuit and i am slowly taking in the theory side of things through watching the "Energy From The Vacum" series of films - fascinating!

Anyways i also wanted to say that what you guys are doing is amazing I don't understand he half of it! i want to try everything but one step at a time
