Two additions worth knowing about, and an honest account of what's still thin.
The ARRL library — 72 volumes, 1926–1984. A near-continuous run of the Radio Amateur's Handbook plus both Antenna Books, the Electronics Data Book, and Hints & Kinks. ~45,000 searchable chunks.
Why these and not something more modern: the pre-transistor editions work everything in explicit L, C, Q, turns and coupling, rather than hiding it inside an IC. That's the same vocabulary the VIC work needs — resonant tank design, coil Q, inductance versus winding geometry, transformer leakage, impedance matching. For anyone winding a choke and wondering why the measured Q is half the calculated one, the 1950s Handbooks are better than most modern references.
The EPG is a family, not one machine. The "EPG Models" material distinguishes at least four builds, and they don't share a drive model, a working medium, or even a tube material:
- EPG #1 (Red pump) — Little Giant B-500, 500 GPH at 1 ft lift, with a documented 50 in/s for slurry, 90 in/s for gaseous medium. That implies a ~23 mm bore, about 1" copper tube, which matches the photographs.
- EPG #2 "Magnetic Spin Generator" (push-pull coil) — no mechanical pump, field rotated by sequenced coils.
- EPG #3 (Polynoid linear drive) — 3-tube and 4-tube divider STLs exist.
- EPG #4 — one figure caption. That's all there is.
A warning attached to that: a widely-copied third-party simulator carries the comment "Per Meyer: single-phase = 30 fps, three-phase = 90 fps." That phrase appears nowhere in Meyer's material. 30 fps is 360 in/s — seven times the documented slurry velocity. The "90" was almost certainly read as feet when the source says inches. If you've sized a pump off that number, check it.
Where the archive is thin, so nobody wastes time looking for what isn't there: EPG #2 and #4 are figure captions with no transcribed body — the coil count and firing sequence for the Magnetic Spin Generator are not in the text anyone has. If you have photographs or notes covering those figures, that's the single most valuable thing missing.
