Supersedes v0.1. That version's title said six devices — the ground-truth table has seven. v0.1 folded the Gas Processor into the WFC, which is the exact confusion this map exists to kill. Corrected here, plus two new layers Chris asked for: a patent anchor per device, and an era/timeline layer built on real grant dates.

The Seven Devices # Device aka Dielectric / key material Patent anchor Era 1 Water Fuel Cell (WFC) Natural Water Hydrogen Gas Generation System; water capacitor cell WATER + excitor plates (T304 SS) Method for the Production of a Fuel Gas #4,936,961 (granted Jun 26 1990); Controlled Process #4,826,581 (May 2 1989) VIC/WFC core 2 Voltage Intensifier Circuit (VIC) the drive — NOT a cell 430F/430FR SS wire chokes, hi-K film, multi-coil spool Gas Generator Voltage Control Circuit #4,798,661 (Jan 17 1989) VIC/WFC core 3 Electrical Particle Generator (EPG) patent title reads Electrical Pulse Generator ARGON / inert gas — NOT water #4,613,779 (1986) Generation 4 Optical Thermal Lens (OTL) Light Guide Lens optical #4,275,950 (~1981) Solar/Optical 5 Hydrogen Gas Gun Gas Resonant Cavity — memo / Birth of New Technology Integration/memo 6 Steam Resonator resonant cavity — own source book Integration/memo 7 Gas Processor differential air-gas inlet key part: Electron Extraction Circuit memo / Birth of New Technology Integration/memo The Eras (timeline layer — the new part)
    • Solar / Optical (1975–~1981): Solar Heating System #3,970,070 (filed Sep 3 1975) → Multi-stage Solar Storage #4,265,224 → Light Guide Lens / OTL #4,275,950. Pre-water work.
    • Hydrogen combustion (early '80s): Hydrogen Gas Injector #4,389,981 → Hydrogen Gas Burner #4,421,474 → Start-up/Shut-down Burner #4,465,455 (filed Sep 16 1981). Burning the gas.
    • Generation & EPG (mid '80s): Gas Electrical Hydrogen Generator #4,613,304 (Sep 23 1986) + Electrical Pulse Generator / EPG #4,613,779. The argon-dielectric branch.
    • VIC / WFC core (1985–1990): Gas Generator Voltage Control Circuit #4,798,661 (filed Mar 25 1985, granted Jan 17 1989) → Controlled Process #4,826,581 (May 2 1989) → Method for the Production of a Fuel Gas #4,936,961 (Jun 26 1990) — the water capacitor + resonant VIC. The heart of it.
    • System integration (1992–1994): Fuel Gas + Enhanced Thermal Release #5,149,407 (1992) → Hydrogen Gas Fuel & Management System #5,293,857 (1994).
    • Memo / Birth of New Technology (mid '90s): Steam Resonator, Gas Processor, Hydrogen Gas Gun, WFC 424 — documented in memos/manuals, not standalone patents. Deer Creek era.
    Disambiguation rules (still law)
    • If argon appears next to WFC in one sentence — STOP. Argon is the EPG's dielectric. The WFC's dielectric is water.
    • Never call the WFC a Gas Processor. The Gas Processor sits downstream, conditioning the air+H2 gas stream; the WFC is the water capacitor where dissociation happens.
    • VIC = Voltage Intensifier Circuit. Never Vibration Ionic.
    • EPG the device = Electrical Particle Generator; EPG the patent title (#4,613,779) = Electrical Pulse Generator. Same thing, two names — flag both.

Grant dates for #4,936,961, #4,826,581, #4,798,661, #4,613,304 are confirmed from the patent text held in this archive. Dates on #4,613,779, #4,275,950, #5,149,407, #5,293,857 are public patent record — their DB entries are PDF stubs, not full text, so treat those as unverified-against-source until someone pulls them in. Corrections welcome. Living map.
