   Capacitors. Basically they are energy storing devices. Energy is stored as a static field between plates. The volume of charge is expessed as farads. nf nanofarad. uf microfarad. F farad. Its just a unit of measure. Moving charge is considered as amp flow. Time to fill a cap.... Time to drain a cap... Basic electronic timer.
