7404 and 7414 chips signal in is flipped or inverted for the output. You can put one signal in and output that signal out multiple times. Lets say your driver out puts 20 mili amps. That is enough for 1 led. Use yhis chip and drive 4 leds. As an example of load on the chip. The 7404 is just an invert. The 7414 is invert with a shmit trigger. Th shmit trigger will shape up a bad signal.
