question on my hho fuel cell?

   i have built a 5 plate fuel cell and installed it in my 2001 ford ranger. the mileage is bad really bad. I'm getting half of what i did on gas alone. very disappointing! some one please tell me what I've done wrong. dazed and confused Eddie [email protected]
