Heating element?

Haven't been on here in a while. I hope everyone is doing well.
Is there any substance that can be heated by an HHO torch flame without destroying it? I've seen demonstrations of oxyhydrogen flames melting tungsten at over 3,000 degrees Celsius (e.g. the Xogen video). Is there any sort of ceramic or metal heating element that can be placed directly in an oxyhydrogen flame without melting it?
If so, how hot? I'm putting together some plans for an HHO torch, but would be interested in using the the plans for experimentation other than cutting and welding. -
