Electrolysis with lightning?

   I wondered if it was possible to make the electrolysis of large quantities of water
   to obtain large quantities of hydrogen, using the energy of lightning products
   artificially with the system shown below ...

   I think you'll find that lightning is not controllable; it will blow your gear to pieces.

   I guess it's a matter of size, if you match the system to the lighting, it could be done, I have always thought about having a giant battery (really giant or a massive large batteries array) that gets charged by storms.

   Great idea johnnay what could contain such a charge?how much charge can a dielectric hold?
