I'm a subscriber to the Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project channel on Youtube, which is headed by Bob Greenyer. For those who aren't familiar with the channel, it focuses mostly on Low Energy Nuclear Reaction and Plasmoid/EVO research. I'm of the opinion that the majority of what MFMP look into has a degree of credibility. Naturally, I watched a couple of videos of a device that the MFMP currently appear to be focused on, called the Thunderstorm Generator. The first video I watched relating to the technology was at a presentation in Zurich:
Looking further on Youtube, I came across the following video from a channel called Alchemical Science, lead by a man named Jordan. This video shows a prototype of the Thunderstorm Generator:
After watching this video, the first thought that popped into my mind was "This looks a lot like GEET". I've posted images below of both technologies for you to do a comparison:

As you can see, the two generators/reactors are very similar. Where the Thunderstorm Generator differs is that:
- There is a "Pre Ionization Chamber" that forms a part of the air intake. This device supposedly irradiates the incoming air with Ultraviolet Light. In the Alchemical Science video, the "Ultraviolet Light" appears to be nothing but a Warm White light bulb.
- The Bubbler has been replaced with a "Plasmoid Generator". It it is claimed that the Plasmoid Generator creates Plasmoids through the cavitation of micro bubbles.
- The reactor on the Thunderstorm Generator has a similar construction to the main reactor of the GEET Reactor, except with the addition of a spherical chamber. Bendall claims that the reactor must be properly sized/tuned or the reaction won't take place.
From what attempts I've come across the GEET Reactor over the years, they were largely unsuccessful in achieving any fuel savings. In terms of what information I've come across relating to the Thunderstorm Generator, I am skeptical that it works as claimed, given that:
- The theory behind the operation of the Thunderstorm Generator has taken elements not just from GEET, plasmoids and cavitation but Western Astrology, HHO, Protium, Rodin Math and Tesla.
- Referring to the Alchemical video. While it is claimed that Thunderstorm Generator needs to be precise, there are parts of the Pre - Ionizer and Plasmoid Generator that appear to be misaligned.
- The videos I've come across so far focus mostly on the exhaust output of systems utilising the Thunderstorm Generator. The load test videos I've seen so far still use hydrocarbon fuel.
- Prior to the Thunderstorm Generator, Malcolm Bendall was a would - be oil explorer. He claimed to have had religious visions of oil being located in Tasmania, even though there has never been any oil or gas drilled in Tasmania. Malcolm Bendall has been making claims about exploring for oil in Tasmania since the 1980s. He has had tens of millions of dollars invested into his oil exploration efforts, the most recent company being Empire Energy Corporation, which has been mostly invested into "Data Collection". No oil has been produced by the companies he has been associated with, and it is believed that his oil exploration efforts are a scam. Here is a clip of Bendall trying to promote Empire Energy Corporation in 2009:
I hope my suspicions are incorrect, but I also expressed similar concerns regarding Andrea Rossi and the E - Cat. If the Thunderstorm Generator does turn out to be scam, I just hope that those who have decided to invest their time and energy into it, such as Bob Greenyer, aren't burnt too badly by Bendall.

Firstly, I'd like to say that when it comes to Free Energy devices I like to keep an open mind and unless I see something that is mechanically or electrically questionable that places doubt on the operation of the device I tend to believe the claims of the inventor. The classic example is Moray's devices which had dozens of people witness the device running electrical loads of several kilowatts and was closely examined by engineers and scientists to see if there were any hidden energy sources or wires connected to an external energy source, which was never the case.
In the case of Rossi I have seen none of this. I first became skeptical of the E-cat when I saw a video of the device which claimed to be able to produce several kilowatts of energy yet the flow of steam coming out of the device was small and weak. His latest demonstration has failed to impress me as well. Based upon what I read from the peswiki article, the large E-cat was connected to a generator to initialise the device yet the generator continued to run even after the device was claimed to be in "self sustaining mode". The steam which was generated by the device was not used to do any useful work to demonstrate that the device was indeed producing the amount of heat (470 kw thermal) that it claimed to be producing. As with previous tests of his device, there were no independent validators to verify that the measurements were correct.
It should be noted the even if the E-cat can produce the amounts of heat Rossi claims the conversion efficiency of the heat to electricity would probably be no better than 30%. For the world's sake I hope I'm wrong on this but from what I've seen so far it looks like I'm not going to be.

Jenny Cells
I only found out about these recently:
SubQuantum Etheric Energy (aka Aetheric Energy) Site Home Page
Called a Jenny Cell, they're basically a Joe Cell but use high ormus materials instead of water. It seems to have been around for a few years but there seems to be few people researching this. Use of the cell in automobiles was not the primary intention of it's inventor but the inventor claims that those who have tried the cell on automobiles have seen fuel savings. Thought it would be of interest to Joe Cell researchers.

I can't see how an underground nuclear explosion could cause the surrounding rock to maintain a temperature of 300+ C for an extended period of time. I believe that the rocks would become hot for a brief period of time but that would probably be for a few hours.
I suggest you look at the post I created a few months ago on Focus Fusion, it's a very cheap method of achieving nuclear fusion that may be available within ten years:

With the nuclear debate appearing again thanks to the Fukushima incident I'd thought I'd bring this thread to the attention of fellow posters. I think that there still isn't enough attention being given to this technology which I believe is the most promising method of clean and cheap energy production.
To give a bit of background information, a Dense Plasma Focus Fusion device creates a pinch which can be used to fuse hydrogen-boron fuel. What makes Dense Plasma Focus Fusion superior to other forms of energy production is that once the fuel is fused it releases charged particles. By constructing a special transformer around the dense plasma focus the charged particles are turned straight into AC electricty without having to heat up water to turn a steam turbine attached to an electrical generator.
As a result construction of the device would be very cheap. As a comparison, to build a 1000 MW coal-fired power plant would cost between 1-2 billion dollars. To construct several DPFF devices producing the same amount of energy would cost about 60 million dollars. A DPFF generation facility would generate about 5MW and be about the size of a large garage. This allows DPFF generators to be built in areas which are too far from the main distribution grid that rely on diesel and renewable energy sources for their electricity. It would also give developing countries the chance to provide cheap electricity to their citizens that have a limited or no electrical grid without having to build or expand on their high voltage distribution network.
The fuel for DPFF is practically limitless. The radioactivity produced by a DPFF generator has a short half life - a person needing to access a DPFF generator could do so safely within 12 hours of shutdown.
There are several research facilities around the world working on DPFF around the world but the one which seems to be achieving the best results are Lawrenceville Plasma Physic's Focus Fusion. Focus Fusion is headed by Eric Lerner who figured out that by making the dense plasma focus smaller a more powerful pinch was developed. Back in January, Focus Fusion achieved the critical 1 Billion Kelvin barrier that is necessary for the fusion to take place and will be conducting experiments with decaborane fuel, which is rich in hydrogen and boron, later in the year. Should Focus Fusion prove to be successful it would probably be another 8-10 years of engineering development before we saw the first Focus Fusion generator.
I can see DPFF having several applications not possible with current energy generation methods. I believe that fast charging electric cars and electric cars in general would be more practical with DPFF generators rather than the current distribution network due to the upgrades you would need to make to run such vehicles, in addition to the extra generation capacity. The DPFF device would be small enough not only to retrofit a diesel train but retrofit container ships. DPFF could be used to design an electric plane and space vehicles.

Why do we continue feeding the white elephant that is heavy hydrogen fusion when Lawrenceville Plasma Physics had a successful test of their hydrogen-boron Focus Fusion device back in October 2009? They claim that a 20MW Focus Fusion device could be built for around $300,000 but even if the total costs of plant and distribution construction resulted in that cost being 10 times that amount for the same cost of this experiment, which is the same cost as about one 1000 MW coal power plant, you could build about 667 Focus Fusion Plants generating a total of about 13,000 MW, which is about the total energy needs of Sydney and Melbourne combined. In reality, the cost should be lower because you could reduce the need of long distance distribution networks since one of these plants is about the size of a petrol station and can be built to meet the energy demands of a town or a suburb rather than an entire city or state.
Focus Fusion would also make electric vehicles the recharge their batteries in a few minutes more practical. Under the current distribution system you couldn't have a large number of electric vehicles that recharged their batteries in a few minutes since you'd need to build a mid sized distribution bank at every recharging facility, not to mention the need of additional power plants.

A story appeared on CBS Sixty Minutes on Sunday about an energy device manufactured by Bloom Energy called the Bloom Box. Basically, it's a compact and cheap fuel cell that can not only use hydrogen gas as a fuel source but also gas derived from biofuels and natural gas. The device has been trialed by a number of high profile companies over several months, which include Ebay, Google and Wal-Mart, amongst others. The inventor of the device hopes that within ten years it will be available to purchase for the domestic consumer at a cost of around $3000. A link to the Sixty Minutes story can be found here:
The Bloom Box - 60 Minutes - CBS News
Bloom Energy has been quite secretive about the device but will be revealing it to the public in the next two days.

) and we were told that with another 40 years of research we should have a viable device. Then what?We have wasted more than fifty years and ten of billions dollars trying to achieve a cheap, clean and abundant energy source using methods that are probably incorrect yet when people like us are spending years of our own time and money that not only would achieve the same thing but, in some cases, introduce us to new physical laws that could be used in other fields of science and engineering we are told that we are kooks. Yet it is the "kooks" of history that refused to accept that the earth was flat, that man could not create a heavier-than-air flying machine or manufacture a motor that used alternating current
who achieved far more to the world than keeping in line with the paradigm of time.It is our refusal to keep in line with the current paradigm that will lead the world to a better place and not some government-funded white elephant.
