Hi eastcoastwilly,

Forgot to tell you that you can sometimes find second hand nickel iron battery sets at used lift truck retailers. Their prices are less than half regular price of new ones, you just need to renew the electrolyte.

My Xantrex C60 charge controller has a factory setting that I use for my nickel iron battery set, just need to take a resistor off the circuit by cutting one of its lead.

Can these batteries be recharged using a Bedini Monopole ?
Yes they can be charged with a monopole, the big battery bank that Bedini uses with the monopole and that you see in the video series "Energy from vacuum" are nickel iron.

These batteries need to be charge with a higher voltage than non iron nickel batteries, if I recall well, you need to feed them 18 Volts instead of 13.5V-14V for lead acid batteries.

Questions?

Hi all,

I have a few questions and comments:

1- From all the old electrical books, a toroid should be wound only on 330 degrees and not all around. Why? I have a few toroids coming from an old medical laser power supply and the toroid were wound only on 330 degrees...

2- When making a transformer, the old ones were placing a small spacer of paper or mica (4mm I think) between the adjoining parts of the armature increase its "efficiency? A toroid with a small slit on it with a thin paper spacer in would work better?

3- What if the toroid has slit and the winding is in 2 sections covering each half of the 330 degrees and placed with the 30 degrees with no wire facing the incoming magnet duets? Would it change something in the equation? (The slit could be on the exit side of the magnet duets)

4- what if the toroid is slit in two and each has its winding as #3?

5- The coils are all in series but are they connected the same or some are inverted?

Bedini's drawing is wrong...

Dr Felix Ehrenhaft:
Instead, he uses the iron rods as pole pieces, or North and South ends of a magnet --- either an electromagnet or a permanent magnet. Bubbles of gas rise through the twin columns of acidulated water, to be collected and analyzed. As might be expected, nearly all of the gas is hydrogen, liberated by a commonplace chemical interaction between the iron rods and sulfuric acid, one percent by volume, in the water. But the phenomenal part of the experiment is that oxygen also turns up, Dr Ehrenhaft recently told the American Physical Society. To be specific, it is found in clearly measurable proportions ranging from 2 to 12% of the total volume of gases. When the gases obtained with a permanent magnet are separated, the larger proportion of oxygen is found above the north pole of the magnet. After rigorous precautions that seem to rule out all other explanations --- including short-circuiting the magnet poles with wire, so that the poles will be at the same electric potential --- Dr Ehrenhaft concludes that there is only one place the oxygen can come from. And that is from the water decomposed with a magnet! Without a magnet, pure hydrogen is evolved.

Somebody should tell Mr Bedini that his drawing is wrong as he places the oxygen output at the South pole of the magnet and it should be at the North pole of the magnet... Won't look nice in his curriculum.

Electrolysis with magnetic current.

Hi baroutologos,

Yes, the magnets slowly drains. The magnetic current carries an electric field and this field is probably producing the electrolysis. The gaz production with the magnets and electromagnets he used was pretty low. Using today's magnets may improve the production of hydrogen and oxygen (higher than what he got) and the process may be good for a longer period although still inefficient.

I'll have to ask my friend what the tube was made of and if it had magnetic properties. It is the tube that is beside the gizmo, the camera angle makes it look a little smaller than the little device. I'll try to remember to ask him where it was when he found it and how it was setup, hanged or else.

P.S.: I know his car was somehow bugged because when he came at my place a few months back, my Linksys router lost wireless connection with my laptop and my wife's computer which uses wireless. As he drove away at the end of the evening, the router resynch with my laptop and the computer. He also found an imprint under his windshield rubber gasket that looked like a small bead with a wire at each ends. That did not last long as everything seems back to normal now.

Hi amigo,

My friend found it hidden in his home using a portable RF detector. This thing was inside the metallic tube. He removed it and placed in one of his bedroom drawer because it was late in the evening and planed to investigate further. He went to work the next day and when he got back home, the device was gone.

So if someone had seen such a device, info could come forth but otherwise we may never know.

Someone asked me if I could find out what would be the possible use of this magnetic device in surveillance. He found it hidden in his place and he is very active in research on HV, magnetic and hydroxy.

My son-in-law did. He researches new energy with me, I do the mechanical setups and he does the electronic ones.

My son-in-law and I were checking the magnetization level for the new magnets I made for the Kohler's magnetstromapparat with the Gauss meter and we looked if we could use "U" magnets (horseshoe magnets) instead of iron bar magnets. While checking the magnetic flux on the new magnets, he added a neodymium to one pole and noticed no apparent increase on the new ones (carbon steel) vs the old ones (soft iron) which showed a high increase in the other pole magnetic flux. He did the same with a "U" magnet and it showed very little increase there too. He placed the keeper on the neodymium magnet and was playing with it , turning it with his finger and saw no apparent attraction or repulsion.

Since I have already 4 projects going ( magnetstromapparat, Newman motor, Stubblefield cells and clay batteries ) and he too has his hands full (TPU, Columbus egg unit, electromagnet for non-ferrous, HHO and a few more ), we decided it could help others and at the same time help us proof the concept for electricity production.

Since my Newman motor looks like it wont be strong enough for the axial flux alternator I made last fall, I will use this concept to make a new one.

Simple magnet experiment.

Hi everyone,

This is my second posting and on this one I want to share a little experiment involving magnets.

Just like the illustration shows, take a "U" magnet (horseshoe) and place a neodymium magnet on one pole (serial flux setup). Place the keeper on top of the neodymium magnet and rotate the keeper with your finger.

Strange thing occurs: no sticky points and the magnetic flux amplification can be use to generate electricity.
