Absolutely not. Why would a manufacturer of a battery make it so they lasted 80 years?? So tough they would kill all competition on that front. They disappeared for a reason. They lasted to long and could take so much abuse that it would have made the view of the battery companies plainly obvious. They wanted to make an income stream not something that lasted forever! This is why we don't make things in the United states anymore of any quality. We have been told it is better to fill our land fills with cheap throw aways, poisoning our land and water to feed their pockets. It's not about what is best for us. It is about what is best for their wallets.
