I was having a conversation with ren yesterday, discussing the use of an scr to dump a radiantly charged cap (bedini) into a battery, and how if the cap is more than 100uf, the scr won't turn off after the first trigger.
Maybe it's because it never gets to zero volts, and is trying to recharge...
I was using a new capacitor, ran it off the avramenko plug of the sec and charged - discharged (thru the lightbulb, ie slowly) less than 20 times before noticing the effect.
My cap was 100uf 100v, and would recover c25 volts.
Effect may be higher if PRC is disruptively discharged though.
Also, the similarity between my setup and matt's is that each radiant pulser conditions both plates of the capacitor, with a positive and a negative pulse.
The capacitor has to be fully discharged to start building voltage again; partial discharge doesn't trigger the recharge.
It may be that the quicker the discharge, the more the voltage will spring back to close to previous value.
So, a direct short through a primary that saturates exactly to capacity (perhaps using an scr) will cause the primary self charging capacitor to begin recharging. It may not be beneficial to have the cap and primary coil remain connected as part of a tank circuit.
a secondary coil could recover the energy from primary recharging capacitor's (PRC) discharge, perhaps charging a battery.
If the PRC fails to develop sufficient voltage to trigger scr ( scr triggers mechanical switch?), a radiant energy circuit kicks in (using monostable single shot 555 circuit that resets countdown on each scr discharge) and tops up the PRC.
the purpose of this thread is to share systems that create a conditioned capacitor that regains standing voltage once discharged, with the ultimate aim of perhaps developing a self sustaining or cop > 1 system that does useful work.
No unfounded criticisms, and experimenters of principles being explored will take seniority in the thread, which means fulfilling the responsibility of explaining their findings with those that wish to duplicate.
The crux would be, say for myself as a donater, how can I be sure that the funds are appropriately used..
We could have a page / site where the donations and funds available are posted. Also where nominations are forwarded. If people put themselves up for nomination by registering a paypal account. For example if I want to help bodkins work on his algae research. The nomination may even cost me a small fee - to prove I think it's worth it...
Then the nomination stays up for a week and the nominee can request a min / max amount or refuse nomination
Forum users can veto a max amount, and approve a min amount.
At the end of the week, approved funds are transferred.
Users will be held accountable to their spending by their submissions to the group. Results will make sure that future funding is approved by the group, and not veto'd.
If that was the case, I would donate a couple of hundred au, as my bessler wheel research is having a minimal impact on my finances.
if you guys are just starting out on this stuff, try using a self oscillating relay instead of 555 timer. but if you do use a 555 timer, you'll want to hide it behing diodes, transistors or relays, else it will get fried.
and the threads ren mentioned are a goldmine for creating sparks.
When I was at ren's place he said he made a Commutator on his bedini that caused a capacitor to load up between firings of the coil: then would disconnect the cap from the battery and to the coil to fire.

Both nat and I bought 12v car tyre pumps - some have an inlet hole in the top of the pump's compression cylinder. I cut a piece of tv aerial tube and glued it on over the hole, then glued a gauge from a foot pump on there but backwards: I haven't actually fired it up for use yet but nat has; his gray tube collapsed? from the vacuum.
My compressor cost me $15au, the same one that nat got.
I'm thinking of vacuum tests too, including turning 12v car globes into vacuum tube diodes...

@ Sucahyo, tesla said aether moves pos to neg? I was thinking that for a long time.. Remember bodkins how the dual diodes to actual ground increased brightness of neon? And I've been thinking of it recently again, because since electron movement is opposite to traditional notation; how do the electrons coming off the battery negative 'know' to have high voltage before they get to the coil?
The voltage / polarity of aether spin is the longitudinal wave that travels in the instant of switch closure.
He means the polarity of each plate must change really quickly.
When there is a voltage difference, a certain percentage of the aether will line up in such a way as to make electron vortex movement from - to + easier. More voltage, more polarity of aether, easier for electrons to travel.
For conductors with low resistance, negligible voltage will cause current. For dielectrics, lots of voltage is needed before electrons will separate from atomic bonds and travel along from neg to pos. This is how free electrons in a spark gap know which direction to travel in: the aether in that direction is like the nut, and the electron is like a bolt. except it is one way spinning bolt, so if we turn the nut around, the bolt has to turn around too......
But if the voltage polarity is constant, electrons will tunnel thru aether to pos.
SO, theaether polarises and then electrons move. But there is a small delay. If you change the voltage of the capacitor plates quickly enough, you can exceed the dielectric breakdown value, because the voltage polarity keeps changing before the electrons can start moving.
If it's not on this site, it's probably in a vault somewhere, never to see the light of day again.

Ah, I suggest a home made salt water capacitor, (use baking soda instead of salt) or Alfoil with several A4 sheet protectors between each sheet of foil..
