i was looking at their systems a while ago have since built my own. i will be very interested to see how it matches up seeing as they aren't cheap. you say it is only drawing 2.8 amps? that would indicate something is not right if it is supposed to draw 30 any idea if it is making the right litres per minute of gas.
thanks for that. the extra boost in dc output once rectified will also be handy as i'm aiming to really get this thing humming. pretty sure i will be one of the few cars on the road with 3 phase power
i have my wfc system setup with a high voltage alternator, till now i have been using 1 diode per phase which has given good results but now i want to upgrade to a full wave bridge rectifier. only problem is i just cant get a 3 phase bridge rectifier where i am without paying twice the value of the part in courier fees. i can get single phase ones no problem only trouble is the wiring of 3 of them to get my two wire dc out. do i just use the neutral from alternator and wire it across the 3 bridge rectifiers with each phase going to a separate bridge rectifier? it sounds like it should work or is there a better way. bearing in mind i am targeting around 500 volts with quite low amps.
i know it is non conventional to use - outer tube but i actually get a decrease in gas by around a 3rd if i swap the wires round. i have checked polarity with my multi meter and it shows everything is coming down the right wires.
i insulated only the inner tube i run that one as positive normally. vinyl paint is basically just pvc disolved in a solvent when i put my multi meter on it it gave no conductivity. i was running 48volts dc from the alternator. unfortunately i managed to fry my diodes and alternator today so progress is going to halt for a little while till i do post mortem on my system and get up and running again hopefully my stator is ok. hit just over 400 volts before a stray wire shorted out and it was all over fortunately my pwm wasn't damaged it would be hard to replace. oh well better ring the wreckers for a new alternator i might try a bridge rectifier as well.
Well i have found myself at crossroad i know what i need for my project but my knowledge is fairly limited on inductance i need some info regarding well everything i guess anything will be useful to me, if you have this sitting on your computer be a pal and post it up for me. my education will be greatly appreciated.
tested a insulated tube today that actually showed good results much less amp usage in my system, i used a vinyl paint nothing fancy but it stuck well after cleaning the tube with a mild sanding and some solvent. i got good gas output with no chemicals in tap water so will proceed with some more testing on that one. it appears far easier than conditioning processes i've tried and gave me a good result. if your running a high voltage setup give it a go just on the inner tube. it probably wouldn't be as beneficial in a brute force koh cell.
there is a high pitched squeel that comes from somewhere due to the noise of the alternator and me being 70% deaf i'm not quite sure which component is making the noise. at the time the temp started to drop i was inputting 0.93 [email protected] into the alternator and getting out 39.5 volts ac 3 phase which is then fed through 3 diodes that all merge back into 1 wire. i dont use a diode on the neutral wire, could this be where my heat is escaping? through some kind of peltier effect moving heat up to my alternator and being dissipated through the windings. might post vid of it running on energetictube once i'm happy with it. i'm getting bloody obsessive compulsive with this thing will try a 3 foot long insulated tube cell this week to try boost gas production. if that works i'm all go to fit it to my car everything is there waiting for it.
just ran a test today with a thermocouple probe installed in my cell. after switching on and running for around 15 mins the temp had not climbed at around the twenty minute mark i returned after answering the phone to find my temp display dropping i stood and watched it drop 1 degree a minute till it reached 11c at which point my motor driving the alternator connected to the cell overheated and cut out. i intend to fit a second probe for temp tomorrow and confirm what happened today. this was the longest i have run the setup and also the highest i've pushed the input frequency to the alternator. i checked the probe and it appears to be reading correctly and the cell was much cooler to the touch after running.

i'm confused how this could be happening any ideas ?? there is no mention in meyers patents of this.

have read a bit of the ravi doc unfortunately i haven't finished it yet because i jumped into testing my cell as is usually the case with home inventors.

i genuinely think it could be a key to getting to getting everything to work as really has anyone ever tried it? not from what i've seen anyway so if it costs 120$ for lasers and it doesn't work at least i'll know it wasnt that stopping it from working. thanks for following up for me on any info ashtweth it all helps.
i have my cell up and running now. SO the next part of his design was the laser energy injection mentioned in his patent. he used banks of red led lights of a particular wavelength pulsed like the energy into the tubes. i recently read a few books on laser energy and although initially i was skeptical about it doing anything however i am starting to see how it could add energy to the gas produced. i am considering buying 12 or more 10mw laser diode units and mounting in my cell aimed at the water bath. the idea i should be to make a much more potent gas instead of large amounts less potent hho. i will revisit meyers patents as its been some time since i last read them. if anyone would like comment on this subject it is all appreciated. sorry for starting so many posts everyone but i get alot of good information from everyone which is a big help.
