Thats only true if we believe its true.. and becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy.

The expensive instruments are nice, and almost always are required for Verification. They are usually NOT required for making breakthroughs. Only the human mind is required for that. Give us the breakthroughs and the instruments can be found.

Your first sentence don't make any sense, we don't talk about a dream , we talk about reality , ANYBODY can get the same knowledge if they invest the time but its not what happen in the reality , people are more prone to build thing than understanding what they are doing , until that change you will never see any real progress , in fact they spend month to understand what is already know for decade, Joule thief is a good example of that. Its not because someone see something strange that there something strange, can be just a lack of understanding.

For your second sentence , good equipment is needed too for RESEARCH , if you cant see what happen accurately, you cant understand it too.working blindly give blind result.

Recently, Dr. Greer and Dr. Ted Loder made a radio/internet interview discussing what is going on with Orion Group.

In this "interview" (self-done really), he stated some disturbing things that i will point out here.

> He said we in the Open Source movement, specifically people who "work by themselves in their garages". will "NEVER GET ANYWHERE".

Lol this is hilarious. Many people who come here have done great and important work. I would say "TWENTY TIMES" what Orion has done... Except that their output is ZERO and you cannot multiply by zero! ORION HAS NEVER SHOWN ANYTHING AT ALL.

I must agree with him for that statement. Most people who work in that manner have really good intention but good intention don't get you anywhere if you don't have the knowledge and the equipment needed and the most important part, money. Uncalibrated equipment, bad accuracy equipment , cheapest electronic part to save money, lack of time, lack of scientific methodology etc etc dont lead anywhere.

Peter Lindemann said something too about that in that post http://www.energeticforum.com/renewa...html#post80535

"The MYTH of Free Energy is that hobbyists can build one of these things in their spare time! The fact is, that 99.9% of all people could not even make a ball-point pen from scratch parts in their garage, or even something as well understood as an internal combustion engine. These are major engineering projects that take time, energy, money, KNOWLEDGE and SKILL."

Its crude but its true.

And btw , measure the capacitance, i never seen in my entire life a capacitor with the exact capacitance as wrote on it, usually for low quality capacitor its 10% margin error and for high quality 1% or less, 5-10% on a 55 farad its a massive difference and can lead to wrong calculation if not tester before.

I have 55F 2.5V from Ben. It took 12 minutes 17 seconds to reach 3V, 0.5V more than rated voltage. I actually take it to 3.4V. Anyone here have experience with capacitor? What overcharging do to a capacitor?

This photo show less voltage, maybe because I accidently short it since I notice it instantly get warm. much warmer than right after charging.

COP measurement: Input is 600mA at 12V, 7.2 joules each seconds, 5306.4 joules total. Energy stored on the capacitor = 0.5 x C x V^2 = 0.5 x 55000000 x 3 x 3 = lol forget it. I think either my calculation screw up or my circuit screw up the cap....
In the formula , C is in farad so ((3.4v * 3.4v) * 55) * 0.5 = 317.9 Joules
You need to factor everything, if tomorrow a Hydrogen car is accessible , you will need Hydrogen station all around the county , else that doesn't work, the price will probably start at 35k for a car in the first 2 year , now about 15% of the population will switch to that technology in the first year, profit will not be there. The price per Liter of Hydrogen need to be under what the gas is by a good margin to make it attractive. If the gas go to 3-4$ per liter , every country around the world will begin to look at that alternative because the inflation cant overcome the price of gas so the decision will be simple. Its why i said that the primer will be the Gas price if you factor the initial cost to make Hydrogen accessible to everyone which will be about 2$ per liter.

We've seen gas over 4.50 a gallon and all we got were promises from the auto industry... untill the oil is gone ,production of any alternative fuel automobile will only happen in small independant companies.

I was talking about Liter, not gallon, sorry if that was not clear, if you want the conversion , 1 gallon = 3.78 Liter so that equal to 11.34-15.12 $ before real action will begin. Under that price , the Hydrogen cant compete with the gas because of the initial cost:, hydrogen station, generator, building , transportation, etc etc.

The main problem i see with Car running off Hydrogen is realy the Hydrogen. The price will go up per Liter of hydrogen because its not a realy efficient process to make it, it need alot of Amps to make it in big quantity even with High quality industrial generator. So the customer will pay the Electric bill to make it, PLUS , the profit margin and since that will be new, the price will be high, all Hydrogen station will have to be paid in a way or another to make this service accessible to everybody who own one of that type of engine.

The only way i see they will make it available to everyone is if the gasoline go up to 3-4 $ per Liter So they will be able to sell Hydrogen at about ~2$ per liter because its realy what will be the minimum cost for the implantation for large scale.

To solve a problem they try to make another problem. To make plastic you need first to extract what is needed to make it and process it, both step need energy. Plastic is recyclable , if you use it to make energy its fine, but just if you will never ever buy anything who is made out of plastic, else you are wasting ALOT of energy, by recycle it you save one step, the extraction of what is needed to make it, alot more Eco friendly because in a way or another , you will need some plastic for other thing like water bottle/TV Frame/etc.

IMO , they should remove the "ECO" in they product name, there nothing "ECO" in the fact that burning the plastic and continuing extracting the same material to remake plastic.
