Abstract
Key DTIC report on high-power resonance transformers. Shows that Tesla coils are NOT lumped-element LC circuits but distributed transmission line resonators. Demonstrates voltage step-up exceeding conventional k=0.6 coupling designs by over an order of magnitude. CRITICAL for VIC research: the VIC's resonant choke + water capacitor may exhibit distributed transmission line behavior rather than simple lumped LC resonance, explaining anomalous voltage gains.
