WFC design session v35: best candidate (Q=30.6, 92.7kHz)
Sweep: Cut peak_v into the 24-90V band paired with low duty to slide V_cell toward the 80-250 Td window while holding the cold/pure/passivated Randles floor, with a fine grid around the 0.845 best (14/19mm, 120mm) plus a mid-drive sweet-spot search not yet gridded.
Cell: 12mm rod in 16.0mm tube × 100mm, 1 cell(s) parallel → C_eff = 1.64nF, bulk water R = 42551Ω. Water/electrodes (Randles): 0.5ppm Na+ @ 8°C, surface ×0.4 → λ_D 103nm, C_dl 6.3µF, cell series R 25.9Ω, displacement current 97.6%, breakdown margin ×176. Fig-8 voltammetry (4,798,661): τ_EDL 267563.6µs (24808.7 carrier cycles to charge), Faradaic leakage at peak 63.3mA (leak score 0.60 — keep amp leakage inhibited while voltage climbs the ladder). Vapor-film discharge (CGDE onset, 735V across 0.1mm film): regime townsend-avalanche, film Paschen 719V, 293 Td. Per-molecule (series micro-capacitor chain): 7.41M molecules across 2.00mm → 99.19 µV/molecule (polarization (µV band)). Chokes: 2 × 0.0009H (520 turns, AWG 22, 62m wire, AC R 4.2Ω each). At resonance f_r = 92.72kHz: Xl = 1049Ω, Xc = 1049Ω, tank Q = 30.6, coil Q = 124.9. Cell voltage 735V from 24V drive (×30.6). Tank current 0.70A circulating (CW upper bound — rate wire/switch for this); average input 14mA at 2% duty. No hard violations (band, wire length, dielectric). Average current is scored, not gated. Score 0.666.
