WFC design session v34: best candidate (Q=28.1, 96.6kHz)

Sweep: Push the gap below 1.8mm and deliberately drop peak_v to drive the vapor-film field down into the 80-250 Td window head-on, with a fine grid around the score-0.845 best (14/19mm, 120mm, 2% duty, cold/pure/passivated) plus new sub-1.8mm territory.

Cell: 12mm rod in 16.4mm tube × 100mm, 1 cell(s) parallel → C_eff = 1.51nF, bulk water R = 46203Ω. Water/electrodes (Randles): 0.5ppm Na+ @ 8°C, surface ×0.4 → λ_D 103nm, C_dl 6.4µF, cell series R 25.9Ω, displacement current 97.7%, breakdown margin ×141. Fig-8 voltammetry (4,798,661): τ_EDL 293598.3µs (28367.6 carrier cycles to charge), Faradaic leakage at peak 88.1mA (leak score 0.53 — keep amp leakage inhibited while voltage climbs the ladder). Vapor-film discharge (CGDE onset, 1012V across 0.1mm film): regime townsend-avalanche, film Paschen 719V, 403 Td. Per-molecule (series micro-capacitor chain): 8.15M molecules across 2.20mm → 124.14 µV/molecule (polarization (µV band)). Chokes: 2 × 0.0009H (800 turns, AWG 22, 96m wire, AC R 6.5Ω each). At resonance f_r = 96.62kHz: Xl = 1093Ω, Xc = 1093Ω, tank Q = 28.1, coil Q = 83.9. Cell voltage 1012V from 36V drive (×28.1). Tank current 0.93A circulating (CW upper bound — rate wire/switch for this); average input 19mA at 2% duty. No hard violations (band, wire length, dielectric). Average current is scored, not gated. Score 0.654.
