Typical apparatus voltage range for exciter plates: 0 to 45 volts
In one typical structure of the apparatus the plate exciter voltage was varied from zero (0) volts to 45 volts, while in a smaller structure the lower voltage levels of FIG. 8 (up to 8.5V) were used instead.
