Quenching tubes prevent hydrogen flash-back in the delivery line
Distribution of the hydrogen fuel gas mixture uses quenching tubes (Figures 5 and 5B): a circuit of discrete small-volume conduits formed in an open-cell porous material within an otherwise solid extending member, which prevents burn-back or flash-back of hydrogen in the delivery tube.
