Published CGDE results: H2, H2O2 and O2 each liberated IN EXCESS of the Faraday-law value at the plasma electrode
Contact Glow Discharge Electrolysis (plasma electrolysis): at several hundred volts a stable light-emitting plasma sheath forms around an electrode immersed in electrolyte, and the products (H2 + H2O2 + O2) are each measured in excess of the Faraday-law value. Origin of the non-faradaic yields (cathodic CGDE): ~75% from the plasma-phase reaction zone around the electrode, ~25% from the liquid-phase zone at the plasma-catholyte interface. This is peer-reviewed mainstream literature (Gupta et al., Plasma Sources Sci. Technol. 24 063001 (2015) topical review; PSST 26 015005 (2017)) — direct precedent for super-Faradaic gas yield from a plasma/displacement-dominated water system, the regime the WFC-as-DBD hypothesis puts my cell in.
