Opposite voltage fields deflect hydrogen electron and proton in opposite directions

Applied voltage fields (66-E1/67-E2) form opposite attraction forces (ST-ST' and RU-RU') across the hydrogen atom: the negatively charged electron is attracted toward the stationary positive voltage field (66), while the positively charged proton is simultaneously attracted toward the opposite stationary voltage field (67), causing elongation of the electron's orbital path.
