LTP-DBD plasma is non-Faradaic: displacement drive, electron-impact chemistry, no Faraday yield limit

A Dielectric Barrier Discharge puts an insulator between the powered electrode and the discharge: DC electron transfer is blocked, charge stores capacitively on the barrier, and the AC/pulsed drive moves displacement current. The resulting low-temperature (non-equilibrium) plasma does its chemistry by high-energy electron impact and radical collisions in the field/gas phase — NOT by charge transfer at an electrode interface. Faraday's electrolysis laws bind product moles to interfacial charge transfer only, so DBD product yields are not Faraday-limited. Mainstream plasma science.
