Gas condensing assembly uses staged heat exchangers and gas expansion to condense purified water
A gas condensing assembly (40) attached to the catalytic block assembly uses a first-stage heat exchanger (15) exposed to flame temperature to heat a cycling gas passing through an expansion chamber (16); the expanded gas cools a second heat exchanger (17) exposed to superheated gases (14), and the resultant temperature gradient performs water condensing; the assembly has no moving parts and is self-regulating, storing water in a catch basin (18) for drinking or recycling back to the Fuel Cell.
