Fine linear fuel flow control uses tapered pin through a port between two chambers

In the fine linear fuel flow control (FIG. 3), hydrogen gas passes from chamber 43 to chamber 47 via port 42, with flow amount controlled by insertion of a linearly tapered pin 73 fixed to rod 71; actuating mechanism 83 recedes the pin to increase flow, while threaded nuts 63/67 on rod 61 set idle-speed minimum flow.
