Electron relaxation on pulse off-time causes spontaneous coherent emission
When the Input Pulse Frequency terminates the Voltage-Sync Pulse during pulse off-time (T2), the deflected electron that had jumped to a higher energy state suddenly returns to its original lower (quiescent) state, causing spontaneous emission of coherent energy from a partially transparent end plate during positive pulse on-time (T1).
