The mutual inductance coil-field (Rp1+Rp2) causes coil capacitance (Cda...Cdn) to help maintain and increase pulse voltage amplitude, while the resistive value (Rs2) of the SS Coil-Wire further resists amp flow not inhibited by the self-inductance fields (Rp1+Rp2), per Figure 7-8.
