Alternate design uses sequentially switched Choke Coils and Voltage Expander Coils instead of core-slug
In an alternate form, the Core-Slug (73) is replaced by a series of Choke Coils (77a-77n) arranged to increase Voltage Pulse Amplitude digitally by sequentially switching Choke Coils on/off, applying voltage across Voltage Expander Coils (78a-78n) in relation to an electrically energized shunt-coil (76), controlled by an Electronic Switch Circuit (79).
