Government funding + MIT = nothing good for the general public unless it can be controlled to control you. IE no technology that gives you true freedom from the blood sucking vampire system.
As far as hydrogen generation, if it can't be done on an as needed basis, it's pretty much going to be a too expensive proposition to be of help for most people. Stanley Meyers had it right. These yahoo's are way behind the times.
